What's in a Name ..

So I often get asked why I choose such a "game name" as Puke-N-Snot.

Therefore thought it might be nice to hear from others as to how they cam by their 'game name" so feel free to share !

As for mine, Puke-N-Snot actually comes from a comedy team that travels Renaissance Festivals across the country & since my parents dragged me as kid every summer to one or two of these I came to know of Puke and Snot's act rather well, add the fact that the name seems to gross some folks out and well how could i resist.
 
Ledzo is my gaming name and it comes from the band Led Zeppelin.Call me Boss cuz imma boss.
 
Got mine because, well Jesus, Freak, freak for Jesus. 54 comes from a website where I first entered that name and it needed a number in it.
 
darkstar comes from a skateboard company which was my first pro board i owned. the 0123 was just extra lol
 
The dragon's breath was the hottest thing I had ever felt. Sweat poured off of my body and vaporized before it had time to hit the ground. A living desiccant. Once. twice, thrice I swung the bastard sword. To my horror instead of cleaving the iron hard scales on the third stroke it broke. Shattered into four pieces.

The dragon laughed and I ran. It followed leisurely.

"Come back small mortal" it hissed.

Up the cavern passage I ran, slipping on the guano and cursing my luck. There, behind the crystal wall my last chance. I took the broken hilt and scribed a line in the surface, then another. With all my strength I struck the crystal with the pommel of my erstwhile sword and ran on.

The dragons laughter hid the rumble. The crystal spalled and ruptured and tons of water poured fourth from the glacial pool the crystal had restrained and quenched the dragons fire and then his life.

I freed the maiden from the pillar of iron and demanded drink. She took me back to the inn and there I drank. Dark smooth and cool. Stein followed stein. I quaffed all that they had.

Then I kissed her sweet lips.

The innkeeper was so impressed. Never had he known such a quaffer.
 
I used this name from a paintball forum where the name Sean was taken (real unoriginal, as it's my first name) so everyone I met from paintball actually calls me SeanR (Sean R), I've gone through a few online aliases though. This one seems to stick though.

Before finding eGO it seemed like every game I played was full of 8 year old kids.
 
my first steam name was Wet | Jet puffed*<----- most random, senseless name ever! I am known as Astr0 now!
 
I hit a bunch of buttons on my keyboard and got spatHHika, so I spruced it up and stuck with it.
 
Jeremy is my name and I like gaming. the 3 in my name is because when O first made the name 2 years ago (12) i thought it was cool. Been thinking about getting a name change.
 
You know what? I actually have no idea.

I completely forgot why I chose this name.
 
I thought of my name when I started playing WoW. I always liked magic type classes and I wanted a "Magical" type of name so I tried Wise and it was taken. So, I tried Wize and ever since it's been my gamer name. Well, That or Saintwize.
 
Original name was I-SPY which I used in Quake. I really don't know how I came up with it, it just popped into my head. Coincidentally spy ended up being my favorite class in TF2 so I stuck with it.

Then last year when I changed it to Deathwing which is a character from WoW.
