Skins (UK vs US)

Okay, so.. there's a show that started in the UK called Skins, which was later copied by MTV in the US and (in my opinion) ruined. I'm just wondering if anyone else has seen these series and which they think is better, who their favorite character was, etc.

If you have no idea what I'm talking about, look up Skins on Netflix if you have it. Great show, you won't regret it.

The US is notorious for taking UK shows and making them suckstastic.

The Office is one exception (Gervais was still involved which def helped)

I watched the first ~ 2 years of the UK series and thought it was fascinating. Very dark and very raw. I lost interest when the characters rotated.

I found Cassie to be the most interesting one of all of the original characters.

I saw a brief part of an MTV episode and couldn't stand it.

Very true. The Office is better here in the US. But yeah, check out Skins. It's amazing. If you like dark, raw drama.. this show might be for you!

Cassie was definitely an all-time favorite. Her and Maxxie made the first set of characters complete. Let's not forget Chris.. oh the tears ;'( Watch out for season 7 this March. We finally find out if Sid found Cassie, or what happened in that whole situation.
