Console commands of autoexec file in /tf/cfg folder.

Generally, TF2 runs on mat_picmip -1, the basic material setting. If you go up in negatives, the quality is higher, so -10 is high quality. It looks like Kiri plays on 10, which is a the lowest possible material setting.

Highest= -10 - -1 - 1 - 10 = Lowest

I've ran Chris' Config for a long time, but that wasn't enough. I replaced models, materials, and particles.

I think I have it on the lowest setting. This is beyond low.

Did you set your settings manually through configs or the command prompt or through the video options in the options menu? Because the lowest settings on there aren't the lowest possible settings you can reach.

Ah, that explains it.

Probably not. But I play just fine on this configuration. It's kazoo though, I seem to have considerably less lag only on eGO servers.

Well, if its eGO servers in specific, sounds like a connection issue than hardware issue. If you have mods on, like say skin or audio mods, performance can change by what sv setting the server has. Most have sv_pure 1 set, which allows modifications, but sv_pure 2 on servers restricts modding, which either makes people crash or have bad performance on those servers.

It depends. Sometimes the server doesn't recognize that you have a modded file, or it forces a clean version of the game incorrectly. I have voice and character models for the Scout to be Rainbow Dash. When I enter pure 2 servers, I still have Dashie, but I often crash.
