Favorite NES games

I was just wondering, what is everyone's favorites NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) games? Mine are Super Merio Bros., Ducktales, Mega Man 2, and Contra.

Too many to remember but off the top of my head, Zelda, Jackie Chan's Kung Fu, Mega Man, Ninja Turtles, Castlevania, Duck Hunt, and who can forget Final Fantasy.

Top 5 off the top of my head in no particular order: Mega Man 2&3, Super Mario 3, North & South, Rescue: The Embassy Mission.

I did my top 10 SNES games a long time ago, I've been meaning to do my top 10 NES games. It is a much tougher list though!

Castlevania

Of course, Castlevania... one of the hardest games I ever played and beat. Have you guys ever played Silver Surfer or Battletoads?? Those games will make you want to cry and throw your controller as hard as you can at the ground. lol

Ghost and Goblins.

You play it once, find out the first time was a fluke...

... you have to do it all over again to get the real ending. The game was hard the first time around...

I never heard of Pirates, Tecmo bowl was good, but have you ever played Techmo Super Bowl??? Its even better. And for Zelda, I never really cared for them cause im not an adventure game type of person, but there not the worst games ive ever played.

Metriod is another good game but just like Zelda, I never really got into it because its an adventure game. The other games you listed I've heard of but never played.

Oh man did I love me some Double Dragon games.

River City Ransom. Please tell me someone has played this... IMO best game ever... I've beaten it so many times.. I even play it now and again on an Emu.. My brother has a save code with the characters completely maxed out. They pretty much 1 shot everything. (remember back in the day when games had those super long text/number codes to save your level lolol)


OHH What about Crystalis? The music in Crystalis still loops in my head sometimes lol.. Awesome game, 100x better than Zelda.. Also a frequent on the Emus

Clearly you're referring to the Where's Waldo NES game when speaking of this "worst game you've ever played"... Theres a terribly funny video about that.. if you wanna laugh at someone flamming majorly on a terrible NES game, its pretty funny..

My favorite NES games were Rock N' Roll racing, ESPN Baseball tonight, Contra, NHL 94/95, Zelda, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Duck Hunt, and obviously the Mario's

Rock N Roll Racing, ESPN Baseball Tonight and NHL 94/95 were actually on the SNES Great games though

Since Crayola mentioned one of the worst (Where's Waldo) I feel obligated to also mention Jaws. TERRIBLE. Also while we're briefly on the topic...The first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game was AWFUL yet I love it. Has anyone ever made it past that second level where you are swimming to defuse the bombs on the dam? I sure didn't. Yet because it was TMNT I couldn't ever hate it.
