Hey everyone!
Hope you're all doing well. Have you ever thought about trying out competitive TF2 but had no idea where to begin? Have you played in a lobby and cried afterwards because everyone was yelling at you? Have you no idea what Highlander even means, but are game to find out? THEN come to the Not-actually-supported-by-eGO-per-se-but-with-eGO-members Beginner Competitive TF2 Group Informational Meeting! Come and find out what the group is about and help decide what'll happen in the future.
The eGO beginner comp group isn't a team, but rather a group of people who want to play competitive TF2 with people who won't start yelling at them because they have a Pomson equipped (<- not a guarantee). The goal here is to have people try out comp TF2 and give them an environment where it can be fun to start out. If support and interest continues, we may even be able to form a team and start preparing for league or tournament play.
We'll talk about what people are looking for and what to expect, get some feedback and discussion about the idea, take some questions, and start scheduling some games. If you've said you're interested, if you think you might be interested, or just if you wanna hear people talk about things, come on vent and join us!
Time: Tue May 7, 7PM PST / 10PM EST; Hopefully around 30 minutes
Where: eGO Vent server, we'll just take over a random TF2 room (look for me)
