Fixed my computers overheating problem

As some of you may already know i have had some issues with my computer overheating when i have played battlefield 3.. Today i finally found the solution, i went into msconfig and configured it so only the most necessary drivers load, meaning none of the drivers for programs i have installed will run

It cut down the process list down from about 85 files to 70. Before my computer would overheat after about 2-3 rounds, but since the fix i have only had the problem once when i had a few tabs too many open in google chrome


The problem now however is that since only system drivers will run i can't use my external hard drive unless i go back into msconfig, re enable other drivers and reboot

At last i can stop worrying about my computer melting from the inside out

Indeed, this would be a fairly reasonable solution haha. I mean cutting back on programs is awesome. But keep your PC clean and have some nice fans in there!

I think I overdid it with the fan solution... Got eight 230mm fans and four 200mm fans and three 120mm fans in my case, plus two 120mm fans on the CPU cooler, and two 60mm fans per south/north bridge.

Now just get 2 big industrial fans to put outside of your case and you're golden.


..I have 3 120mm intakes, 2 120mm exhausts, 2 120mm on my cpu cooler, 2 92mm(?) on my GPU, 120mm on my PSU. lol.

No, not really. It's not that loud, lol. It's only loud in a very quiet room.

Swamp coolers cause condensation. AC units take the moisture out of the air.

One of the first things air conditioners do to the air is draw moisture from it through evaporator coils that attract water vapor so it condenses inside the conditioner and is drained away.
