You may have hit on a good idea. If we end up with enough people for two leagues one can be keeper and one not. Those with most seniority get first choice on which league to enter. There is less chance of people leaving, and if they do perhaps someone from league 2 who has proven him/herself can take over. we can compensate for weak teams with advantageous draft picks. However, if that is the case I may withdraw my offer to commish the second league (unless you want to commish the non-keeper league;).

Or the keeper league could be completely separate from the redraft league, with whomever is interested basically managing 2 teams, one from each league.
 
THe only reason I'd be afraid of a Keeper league is because I'd have to keep my crappy team every year .-.
 
I think our 16 team format works great.its very competitive and makes the draft very important to attend

Just to clarify Beef, are you saying you are not in favor of expanding to 18 teams, or not in favor of converting to a keeper format? Or something else?
 
I would prefer a non split, non keeper league. I'm cool with expanding.
 
I'd be ok with 18 but I do enjoy the draft, so not too in favor of a keeper league. I'm flexible and whatever the majority wants will work great I'm sure.

You do not keep your entire team, only 2 or 3 players, so there is a draft every year. Also you can trade draft picks, like in RL. Draft position would not be random every year, only the first year. Read here for some basic info.

League is open to register 5 teams from the waiting list, PMs sent and I am waiting email address from them so I can send them the registration link.

Also for all teams that have already registered, please vote on the poll in our FF league page so we can determine our division configuration and # of playoff teams.
 
Still need:

-Nuckin to register
-one more new team owner
-whoever is interested to vote on the poll on our league page (only 4 have votes so far)
 
Update -- I will be closing registration by the end of this weekend (Sunday 11.59pm PST) unless Nuckin registers getting us to 17 or we have someone else express interest in joining, so that we can get started with dice rolls, division setting, and the usual obligatory trash talking.
 
Our 17th has registered, so we now only need 1 more. I'm confident we can always get that magical 18th from one of our other divisions, but I'd like to keep this within DoD as far as possible, so spread the word!
 
Id be willing to make a 2nd team, that way I can take both 17th and 18th place.
 
If you need a new owner, I'm interested, though I need to admit I haven't done fantasy sports in AGES.
