As the title says.
I'm a back up for a team & last week they Won by forfeit but they were short players this week so game on. I've played competitive Qack, UT & ect before so no stranger to competitive games & had really wanted to get into that side of TF2. And it didn't disappoint, sadly we lost tie-tie-loss. Last round we rolled the 1st 2 CP's & had #'s so heavy & I (medic) moved to last CP along we thought with the demo, but for some reason the demo turned back from there we just never seemed to regroup.
As in all comp team play a lot comes down to comms, prep work & knowing the people your with. But since we didn't have a scrim, didn't do a map walk thru (till before the game) I guess we did OK.
I'm just not used to that type of lack prep work. Hoping that part changes & I get a few more matches under my belt.
Over all it was a good to be back doing some comp play & not PUBs or PUGS!
