I have come to embrace all three of the reasons people ask about being the source of my name:

1) The real origin was starting to play DoD around seven years ago and frequenting the [GA] server under the name Dangling Participle, cause I'm just that much of a grammar geek. Nary a soul could (or would take the time to) pronounce it in full, so they shortened it to Dangle.
2) The hockey technique. (Go Blackhawks!)
3) Lieutenant Dangle of Reno 911.
 
I earned my moniker "kuTTer" in 1999 in a mod of Unreal Gold, using a buzzsaw blade gun. I owned way too much for my own good with that gun, loved it. It ricocheted off every surface, creating much chaos and death to those who approached me. Someone said something like "its that guy with the cutting gun" - I liked it, so I renamed myself from "xXXx" to "kuTTer"...
 
Sabre because.... well.... I like it. People initially cannot tell I'm a girl, cause when that happens.... Ugh.
 
Multiple names with many stories to tell. Son Goku was just because I was bored and I liked DBZ for the hour I thought of it.

Anyway, I'll explain the name I actually care about and am widely known as, Suika.

So back in 2010, some guy added me on Xfire, Fujiwara no Mokou. Little to say, he's an oddball. He's a fun oddball, though, and I love him for that. Anyway, he got me into Touhou, which I love above all things really. Touhou Fortress 2? Ya. So, yadda yadda yadda, when I joined a Halo PC/CE clan in 2011, I couldn't think of a name. Well, I decided I liked the Touhou character Suika Ibuki, coincidentally the Demoman in Touhou Fortress, which was my favorite class prior to discovering rocket jumping in 2012.

But that name stuck to me for over two years now, and it's quite a bit more unique than most of my other names. Literealm, TenZe, Influenza, etc. To be fair, TenZe was a rehash of Tenshi Hinanawi, another Touhou character I like.
 
Hmm... I remember hearing this name awhile back and I started using it, the only problem is my friend also wanted to use it when we played games so it clashed but these weren't pc games so it was fine and i ended up forcing him to change his name. Then i picked up the spelling as I wanted it to be because zeke even though that might be the way people spell it when they name their kids, i like zeak better personally.
 
Silver was my favorite color, and dragons were my favorite creature. So I combined the two and came up with SilverDragon. TS stands for the "The Scarred" which is more of a personal meaning to me.
 
i stream vidyagames on a website often, and before u create an account name the site generates you an 'anon' account with a randomg number, so like anon17779 for example.

my name is DJ, so i just put anon in between the letters, DanonJ, forgot the password to that acccount, and made my second one with two j's. I tihnk it looks cool lower case, so Danonjj was born!

A long, long time ago, in the days of WON IDs for Counterstrike...I was adrift and unsure of what to call myself.

My younger brother was a huge fan of Weird Al at the time, and kept playing Amish Paradise over and over and over. There's a line from that song that goes "...even Ezekiel thinks my mind is gone!"

It sounded cool and that's what my nickname has been ever since.
 
When I first started gaming online I joined the Justice League clan, since about half of them were guys I know in real life. I needed a Justice League name - Black Canary was taken, and I didn't want to be Wonder Woman, so I poked around until I found Gypsy.
 
I got mine from one of my favorite Japanese bands, "Hyde" is the lead for L'arc~en~ciel and went solo for a bit to do heavier stuff and the "895" came from the radio station (WSOU) back in college where I was on-air overnights for 2 yrs. I've stuck with it lol.

Well, as you all know I have been around for thousands of years. In this time I have been called many names, names that you earthlings cannot pronounce. In my time roaming the universe I have settled upon many stars, stars your scientists would say don't exist mind you they do. So in my time on other stars I was called many things by the rulers of the planets I lived on. But then one day when I was making a pass by a planet not marked on any of the existing maps that the people of the stars had made. I thought it would be a safe pass, I was wrong. The Earth's magnetic field and gravitational pull brought my space ship down. With my luck I landed in a waste land which appeared to be 2 km from a city named "Dublin". At first I had no clue where I was or how I got here, but I stayed trying to repair my ship but the planet where I landed was less advanced then the planets that my ship was made so I realized I was stuck here until they advanced and I knew it would be a while until I could get out of here. I went passing from shadow to shadow leaning how the natives lived and worked. After about two days I learned how to fit in. The first name I learned in this strange language was "Conor" so it stuck.
 
I started off playing CS as DarkLord & kept getting slaughtered,wasn't really feeling the name, changed it to JamesBonD(CAN),did really well that name vibes were good. I got tired & rebelled against whatever I could find & changed again to JamesBonG & last & hopefully least played BF2/SF as PedroPacas (real name is Peter hence Pedro) & since I was very much like Cheech Marins character & the last server I played with that name was here on eGo's BF:BC2 server I just decided to use that name as my permanant name. GBeGO!!
 
It's how I felt in high school. Outwardly calm (serene) but internally I was punching people in their stupid heads (kaos).
