CS:GO compared to CS:S

Just wondering why some of you prefer CS:GO to CS:S. Is it the weapons, the graphics, the overall gameplay? I personally like both, even though I'm really bad at CS:GO.

I prefer cs:go although eGO doesnt have much support for it.

I prefer CS:S, maybe that's just because I have played the game way longer then I have played CS:GO. Though I will be playing CS:GO more and should get more into it.

The way I see it so far is that CS:GO was specifically made for competition. It doesn't just look different, it feels different. (imho) That being said, I'm probably just a baddie at GO. I enjoyed both so far, but I've only played a couple matches of GO. Looking forward to more.

The gameplay in cs:go is a lot smoother than cs:s, and one nice thing about it that I personally like is that it has a matchmaking system.

I like both a lot. CS:S for the variety of many game plays, the jail, minigames, surf, bhop all that fun stuff. But for csgo i really like the competetive style. It's very addictive. And In about a week i'll be starting a group for our csgo server, and it will basically be for ppl who like to fill it and support it.

CS:GO just seems more polished. I just started playing both very recently, but in my opinion CS:S is definitely showing it's age. I will say that I don't get into the minigames and all that as much as some people do, so if that's the draw for CS:S then it makes sense that I don't like it as much.

Hmm yeah I see what you mean about the competitive style, guess that's one reason I don't play GO very much. I'm not big into competitive.

But overall cool to get some people's opinions :thumbup:
I think it would be awesome if someone made a video comparing CS:GO side-by-side to CS:S. So people notice the smaller details, oh well for all I know that's probably been done already.
