After almost 8 years of development, its finally out!

I know a handful of people in Op:X have played PR in the past with myself and others. But I also know a vast majority of you haven't.

What is it?

Well basically its a realism mod for Battlefield 2. Much like ArmA 2, yet the user interface/learning curve is not as steep as ArmA 2/3.

Gameplay

Gameplay is heavily focused around teamwork and realism. The whole objective is to either reduce the enemies tickets to zero (much like in BF2/3) by capturing set points on the map.
Or by destroying the enemies weapon cache locations in Insurgency.

All matches are team vs team, now with 100 player servers available.

Weapons also have realistic handling, bullet deviation and set up. No more dolphin diving or no scoping :P

Included with the mod is a program called Mumble, that allows for audio positioning ingame. If someone is standing 15 feet away from you, then they sound like 15 feet away from you.
Mumble also allows for Squad leaders to communicate to each other for multiple squad attacks, or for calling in CAS support, to epic convoys.

What do I need?

All you need is a copy of BF2, updated to the latest version (1.5.1)! You can pick a copy for ?5.

Where to Download?

You can download and preload v1.0 from this link: http://www.realitymod.com/downloads and simply follow the instructions.

Last of all, the mod is FREE to play and download. So you have no excuse!!

Hopefully there will be enough interest again to fill an entire squad of members!

I've played PR a bit sometime ago, and I liked it a lot. Last time i played it, i think it was 0.92 or 0.97 version; not too sure. But i settled for Forgotten hope due to the more arcade-ish/easier gameplay.

Still, it is great news to see PR release :)

Definitely worthwhile installing it again man!

Nothing beats 32 players working as a team, storming the final insurgent cache with; tanks, attack choppers, mortars and multiple infantry men supporting each other.
All while avoiding IED's, RPG's and small arms fire

So an update.

Just played my first full round on Karbala as Bluefor against Insurgents.
Game play has remained almost the same, but all the weapons handle differently now, including the load out screens.
The new particle effects are a nice touch too. Makes the firefights more intense and you can actually see the bullets landing at your feet, along with the new sounds.

Only issue still is mumble. Keeps crashing regularly and bugging out. Hopefully they will fix this soon.
