Thanks for telling all of us that you're butthurt.

Please stop giving unfounded claims. Can you back this up?
Thousands of people(including me) were intructed by their professor to get this program and is also in the textbook. You asked for evidence, so I showed you. The fact that you think they don't have the technology thought out for the next 15 years is quite humble...
It takes basic arithmetic knowledge to know that it has actually been
less than 15 years since March 19, 1999 when you claim that Intel first made the socket available. But that isn't even true, because the socket wasn't available in 1999.
Have u heard of the Military? Have u heard of power and control? Have u heard of money?
Have you ever heard of Moore's law? Probably not.
Now, there's always actually three sides to every story: Yours, Mine, and The Truth.
Yours (xNocturnal's): The LGA 1155 socket was first available in 1999
Mine (well... Snipeye's): The LGA 1155 socket was first available with the advent of Sandy Bridge processors, released in 2011.
The truth: It does not take an advanced degree in computer science to know that LGA 1155 was not introduced in 1999.
Truth: LGA 1155 is only compatible with Sandy Bridge and Ivy Bridge processors
Truth: The first processors that supported LGA 1155 were released in 2011. Development on these processes started in 2005, but that's still very far from 1999.
Truth: LGA 1155 would be completely irrelevant without processors that used the socket
Truth: LGA 1155 still effectively had a 2 year lifespan, because LGA 1155 was only supported by Intel for 2 years. This doesn't make anyone wrong except for you
Truth: For this reason, it could be completely true that LGA 1155 was first devised in 1999, but this would not make that its "Introduction Date". You're still wrong.
Truth: Your arguments aren't "bad facts". They aren't facts at all.
