As for my name, I used a random number generator to pick letters out of a hat. I got 'o', 'f', and 'y' out, but I didn't want people calling me an oaf or anything similar, so I went backwards one letter and got oey. I then proceeded to travel back in time and convince one of my second grade friends to nickname me "oey" and it just kinda stuck. The numbers are a mystery though. Some people think they may allude to the year in which I was born, but I'm not telling?
 
My nickname "Kelp" is actually my real-life initials. Well, actually, they're K.E.P., but I decided to add the second middle name of Link (yes, I'm a huge Zelda fan) so that it would be K.E.L.P. I went by that, capitals and periods and all, for a while, but when I started signing up for websites, most of them didn't take periods. Also, KELP was often taken. So I came up with something different.
I first used The_Mighty_KELP on GameFAQs, then later on eGO and Steam. After a few years of that, I decided to change my handle to KelpTheGreat, as underscores were annoying, I didn't feel like having the all-caps KELP any more, and I wanted the name "Kelp" at the start, because people often called me "The mighty".
That's... pretty much it. Soon it'll be a full decade since I first gave myself my Kelp nickname. :thumbup:
 
Since I played Perfect Dark on N64, Ive been using this name. I just thought that ''Mak_-'' Was looking good and was sounding cool for an Agent. Since then, I'm using it, and will always use it as my name.
 
Back when I played non-progress-saving MMO games (like early versions of Club Penguin), I just named myself my own name (Paulo, for those who don't know).
Then when I started playing Club Penguin in Miniclip, I asked my mom's help to create a username. She thought of Pauliping (Paulo + Ping Pong [I liked Table Tennis]).
But she typed it wrong.
I've been using it since then and, whenever I need a secondary account, I use Pauliping, because that's never taken either.

The numbers are random and Ken is my nickname :D I used this as my main back when RS was still cool

It was a random thing that occurred during the days of RS
Current: Vonzieli, FishSundae, and Encrowned
Vonzieli was a random name I thought of while trying to make characters for a story
and I really wanted a "V" and a "Z" in the name so that came up
FishSundae, one day I was talking to my friends about random foods and I thought of FishSundae and it actually exists. When I was in the Philippines my friend told me to try it but I never had the chance
Encrowned, it's like a royalty name :D
