Jail Server Rules?

Hello All!

This is Snuggle-Boo with a quick question about the jail sever rules. That i think a lot of players could use a little bit of enlightenment.

Is This A Rule???
#1 When warden says war day can a T kill any ct's walking toward the desired war day area in cells and not be killed for shooting that CT cause it was announced a war day? E.X. Intux Says "War day in Disco" Snuggle-Boo gets a gun cell and sees intux walk right by and snuggle-boo kills intux. can snuggle-boo not be killed for his actions cause it was a war day?


#2 When a wardan says "Take a Step out of cell and face your cell" (w/o saying be knifing distance) can a player jump before exiting there cell and face there cell and freeze?

#3 Can a T be crouched in a wall vent in there cells (not a vent that has ladders but a vent that goes though invisible walls.) and just be there and not be an auto want because they didn't go through the whole vent?
Cause if you ask me if a T doesn't leave a cell and just stays crouched in that vent i don't think that should be an auto want!

I know this are all loop holes but I really want to know if these are rules!!! If any player can help me understand them a little bit more I would be more then HAPPY! And please if you have any confusing rules please post it on this thread!

These are just my opinions

1 : I'd say yea because that wasn't the warday area, but I don't think CT's should hunt you down, they should just go to the warday area and only kill you if they see you in the open or you're shooting them

2 : Idek, I don't kill for anything like this, as long as they're outside their cell idc

3 : I would say yes because it's still a vent.

1. They can't kill you unless they are in disco, so no.

2. Depends on how strict the warden is. While you might think that isn't a very specific order, it actually is. Take one step out of your cell and freeze. He didn't say take one jumping step. He said one step. So, if they want to kill you for jumping step, they can.

3. Vent is vent. If you are only partially in the vent, you're dead.

Second, it appears that RDK posted your questions in that forum already, so you should wait until an admin trainer gives an answer there.

We ATs shouldn't take long to give an answer so keep checking today and tomorrow.

You linked him the the "Admin Q&A" jolly. Only admins can see there and post there.

In future i guess you could drop box it but then it would take longer than this since this way gets straight to admins>ATS and dropboxes sometimes take a while.

I apologize for not using the right methods, I'm still a little bit new too EGO and getting use to the style of chain of command. So to my understanding there is no Q+A for E's? Or Jolly just sent me the wrong link and there is a Q+A for E's?

Answered this in game but I'll say this here for e's to see.

This was an ok location to ask this question. However, another place to ask is the drop box. Although, only leadership can see the questions, they do get answered pretty quickly. But posting in the division forums can get your answer much faster, but possibly it could be wrong. Hope that makes sense.

In other words snuggle if you do NOT post in the Drop Box then the answers given may not be 100% correct.

If you do post on a forum like this just wait for an Admin Trainer to reply with the correct answer as they would have discussed this with leadership and came to a good conclusion that everyone should follow.

Any time a Terrorist kills or inflicts damage upon a Counter-Terrorist, that Terrorist is able to be killed by other CT's, as he is wanted. This is assuming that the game they are playing does not require them to kill CT's, like sharks and minnows or pokemon fights. War days do not fall under the same category as those games, therefore the T's are able to be killed.

Here is another example of players taking jail to seriously. If the warden did not say they have to be knifing distance, than a player may jump out of their cell and not be shot as long as they are following all other orders. The distance of a "step" is not defined specifically, because of this a player should not be killed for jumping out. Keep in mind the warden shouldn't be extremely strict and begin shooting all the Ts who don't step out of a cell, especially after not saying "knifing distance". Unless the warden said he was going to be super strict, CT's should be lenient with that first command.

This situation is one that should not surprise you if you get shot. However the CT's should issue a warning to the Terrorist before being shot. If the Terrorist does not comply with the orders given to them, then they are liable to be shot.
