annoying ads

the bottom ads are have autoplaying videos. can we get rid of those?

What browser are you using? Ad Blocker might help? or you could do the Dedicated Supporter way. http://www.edge-gamers.com/forums/payments.php
When you're a Dedicated Supporter all ads are removed from the forums, plus a bunch of other cool features!

as much as I dislike how adds are being played on websites I can understand why edge does have to make money to keep their site and servers

they all cause me trouble. but im a dedicated supporter so my adblocker doesn't really do anything.

Like it has been suggested, you can always become a dedicated supporter. However, if you are not able to do that, here's some help.

The ads aren't supposed to play videos. If you hear an ad playing a video, get a screenshot of it (like you did) and post it in the dropbox along with the source of the ad.

Leadership will get it taken care of. Video ads have never been allowed and that hasn't changed as far as I am aware, but that doesn't stop some websites from trying to sneak them in.
