I don't think they reset. It's the total dominations that you have gotten while playing.

They do. The scoreboard keeps track of your stats while you're in a server only, therefore not keeping track of all dominations unless you didn't leave or get kicked.

It's still much nicer to show how you slaughtered each and every person there. Also in case they disconnect or they get a revenge you have a screenshot of that specific person being dominated.
