New Mouse

So i've recently upgraded to a more gaming mouse. I got a Logitech G400s. I just want to know your guys' opinions on it, or just Logitech gaming mouses in general. Because I come from using a crappy $5 gateway mouse that came with my pc, and tbh I feel like this mouse is just crap. And maybe that's just because I'm used to crappier mouses, or it could just be because Logitechs aren't good for First person shooters, Like: Counter-Strike:Source =, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, and Battlefield 4. Or is it maybe because I need to get used to a new mouse? Please comment with your opinion on Logitech mouses or what you think I should do.

I'm using a Razer Deathadder now, second one after I broke the side button on it (pressing it down too hard, who knew?). Before this, my previous favorite was the Logitech MX501 mouse. I did NOT like the new G500 series or the ones before it. Personal preference; the layout and shape of the mouse did not fit well with my hand and it was more of a distraction pain when it came to FPS.

The important two things with a mouse is fit and form. Fit: How does it feel in your hand, does it feel like a natural extension to your fingers, does it suit your gaming mouse style (Razer has a list of them, like the Claw, namely describing how you hold your mouse while playing). Form: Does it have the necessary buttons you need, are they located for ease of use, customizable, etc.?

Personally I like Logitech mice. I have a Logitech G5 gaming mouse, outdated I know, but it's lasted me for the past few years now, I don't have any issues with it. I'm not sure about there newer mice though, I've heard both good and bad about them. But it all comes down to does it feel comfortable in your hand and can you access the buttons on it easily

I have a G500S, and I like it. The buttons took me a little to get used to because of the shape of the three thumb buttons. Now that I've grown accustomed to it I like it quite a bit. I also have the G13 gamepad, and I like how they work together as far as the profiles go.

Thanks everyone on your opinions and such. Helped me a lot. In the end, I have decided to keep the G400s. It's getting better, and my hand is starting to feel more relaxed and comfortable on the mouse. Plus I'm starting to get used to new sensetivities that had to be made on certain games.

I have a Deathadder as well, I've gone through 2 in the past 3 or so years. I got the 2009 edition and used that for a while, then I upgrade to the 2013. Both are still in great condition!

I also have a Logitech G500. It took a bit to get used to the dpi setting balanced with the weights. But before that I've always used a cheap lil $5 Walmart special. I did try the Razer Deathadder at a friends house. It seemed so bulky to me and had way to many bind buttons. Maybe if I still played WoW or another MMO I would consider this mouse just for the binding abilities. But in the end it all comes down to nothing more then this:

I also just got the Logitech G105 gaming keyboard. I'm finally starting to get used to it, but it took a lot longer then the mouse. Happy hunting!
