Iphone 5c or 5s or galaxy s4

kilroyy, the htc one is amazing, check it out

I was looking at those. I actually haven't gotten a chance to play with one yet. How is the calendar? Most phones lack a good calendar widget. The Samsungs have a widget where I can go and see all four of my calendars overlayed, color coded and by month. Does the One allow you to do that with a widget? That's my biggest sticking point with staying with Samsung right now.

i havn't played around with the calendar widgets too much, but from what I can see, the htc one doesn't have a widget like that. but there are always apps that probably replicate the S4's

Yeah, for some stupid reason this is what I focus on. I haven't found a widget or app that I like as much as the Samsung default. The calendar and email are the two things that I use the most, so until I find one that's as good I think I'm stuck with Samsung and living in constant fear that the next update will include a new calendar that doesn't have all the functionality. :glare:

I have heard great things about the htc one, though.

I was going through just this decision making process in the last two weeks, iPhone 5 vs Samsung S4. I went with neither. I bought the Nexus 5 (made by LG) through the Google store.

The hardware features and performance are comparable in both camps, the software features are similar. If you're concerned about phone durability, there a number of good cases to help with that.

For me, I chose the Nexus 5 because of price and flexibility. I bought it outright for several hundred dollars less than the iPhone or Samsung is outright, or through contracted installments. This phone is not locked so I can resell it at any time, and I'm not stuck in some carrier's contract (contracts give me the hives).

I had the HTC One before I got my LG G2. (it bricked, but that doesn't necessarily make it a bad phone)

I used the Google Calendar though.

At Best Buy, the iPhone 5c is free, and the 5s is $125 + tax.

Galaxy S4 is $50. So, I'd go for the Galaxy. I've been a Samsung user for 6 years, and compared to the iPhone 3G, 3GS, and 4 that I had in the past, I have to say I'm much happier with Samsung.

Right now, I'm packing a Galaxy Note i717 with a clean version of Android 4.3. It's awesome.

I would say consider the LG G2 also. I'm very happy with mine.

S3 and S4.. great phones..
Really you could choose any of these ... all good choices.
S3 and S4.. have larger screens..NFC.. perfect for watching videos. and less restrictive. More customizable.
Foxfi works perfectly (Verizon) (AT&T S3 Foxfi works properly.. not S4)
I have not seen the lag that people talk about . I have owned both S3 and S4.
People like to dog touchwiz. But I think they've done a decent job with it.
My brother has a nexus ... and if anything.. touchwiz has more features available... although none of them are real deal breakers.
Vanilla android is nice too.

After a lot of suggestions both from IRL friends and you guys, I have gone with the iphone 4s.

Hate me if u want :D
