EdgeGamers Podcast!

Odd...the latest podcast I'm seeing is from late July.

I was bored and decided to keep exploring the forums and came across this, but
i was wondering about that too, so July is the newest one?

Currently, the most recently uploaded one is from July. However, we generally record every Saturday evening, so there's a few months' backlog. We're rapidly working on getting up to date, so bear with us and, as I've said in some of these podcasts, please let us know what you like, what you don't, and anything in between. If you want to hear a guest, give us a shout. If you want us to cover a particular news topic, just say so. We're open to anything and everything.

Another episode of the podcast is up! Fresh out of late August!

I know...we're trying to make up for lost time, we really are.

I'm glad to hear people continue to approve!

To be frank, I'm looking for a committed sound editor for the podcast. We're in a bit of a jam these days with our main editor on hiatus. We can't continue releasing quality* podcasts to the community without someone who can do the behind-the-scenes work, so if you are handy with Audacity or know someone who is, please let me know! I'd love to have the opportunity to get a consistent editor who can help us out. Who knows? You might even get a seat on the show, too.

*Good joke, I know.

A big thanks to Shiznoe for stepping up to be a new editor for the podcast! As a result, you can find another episode of the podcast up on the website. Hope you enjoy! As always, let us know what you like, what you don't, and what you want more of from us.

I've listened to a few of the podcasts and I think you guys should do a few things (if you don't already do this):

1.) Make structured segments and create natural segways into topics so it will remove the tangents and rambling.

2.) Make sure that hosts do not talk over each other

3.) Feature sound clips and multimedia references when reading the topic for the segment.

4.) Include "show notes" with each podcast containing a few photos, videos, and webpages referenced in the podcast.

5.) Get the podcast out there with advertising in the clan wide meetings and bringing people of interest on the show.

6.) include intermissions so the listeners can have a break from the talking when they are listening, this can include music or some sort of reminders or advertisements.

We're definitely going to work on these things, Trippey. We've been on a retreat to try and make sure we'd fix some problems and make things better henceforth. I definitely appreciate you taking the time to itemize your thoughts clearly and concisely. That helps us immensely; thanks!

In the meantime, why not check out our most recently uploaded podcast? It's a nice discussion with BigBird from the Battlefield Division on Battlefield 4. Check it out!

Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to another episode of the eGO podcast, available right here and now!

And here we go with another episode, this one featuring PSC DL Dead Tom and his extensive library of delicacies!

You've probably seen it on the front page, but on Saturday, we're having a live podcast recording with a special guest. As we mention in this episode, you can ask your questions in advance for the live podcast right here so they can be quickly screened. Get pumped!

Also, have you been thinking, "I could do a much better job than these guys at hosting this podcast"? Well, let's see it! I'm on the lookout for a few new alternate cohosts, so if you are interested in speaking to the community, send me a PM and we'll start up a conversation about your prospects.
