from what i read, servers mean nothing. There is one Megaserver so we can hop

Congrats to first day of early access! everyone add me on steam so it easier to coordinate.
here is my current stats for ESO
Race: Khajiit
Class: Sorcerer
Faction: Aldmeri Dominion
Guild: Clan Moonblade(my personal guild i use for setting up quests/pvp/trading)
Please again add me on steam im looking for people to play this with having some more members playing this would be great even if we cant have a "eGO" clan in game we can still guild it up. Drac

I've noticed DC is pretty popular too. During the beta I would have wagered AD would be the most popular. But I'm not certain the choice is based on lore.

Apparently Breton Sorcerers are a very strong class and race combination and some pick DC for that. I'm not into the min-maxing thing so I generally don't understand what they are talking about.

Another reason is that the Main Quest for EP was considered dull while AD and DC were considered fun. And with Main Quest I mean the quests associated with first big area since most beta players didn't get to play in the later areas.

It's fairly odd, all of the polls I've seen have the three factions at a rather equal rate. However, during the PTS, the Dominion was routinely dominating the PvP scene due to numbers.

It led a LOT of members to believe that Daggerfall Covenant was being groomed for the serious PvP scene (how this was concluded is beyond my comprehension).

My 0.02 is that a lot of people dislike Elves due to the whole Night Elf/Blood Elf/Legolas dynamic. Given that the Daggerfall Covenant is the only faction that does not have a true Mer race (Orcs and Bretons are half-Mer), I would say it's rather enticing to those of us who dislike Elven goofiness.

Thanks for the feedback, makes a bit more sense now.

Still I guess only time will tell if the factions will become unbalanced or not.

Skull Crusher is the RP campaign and is the current campaign that the group I run with are going to be on. I'd suggest it!

I only played this game when it first came out. I like the style of the gameplay but other than that that is all that I like about the game. I put $5 down on the game at Gamestop but I might get rid of it til I have the money to purchase it.

I have bought the game. DL now, Playing with my bro and his friend, would love to see Elder Scrolls Online became one of the OP:X division games! :)

I give the game 4/5, the combat utility seems rather bland, but not any worse then any other mmo. On the other hand crafting, exploring and overall game play is good. Only time will tell on how good the endgame will be.

Question for those of you already in game.

Can you choose freely between the US and European mega server or is the account region bound?

You can choose which mega server you play on in the settings menu of the launcher, however I think characters are bound to a mega server but I'm not 100% sure on that.

Correct. The characters are bound to the server and you can't send items from characters on one server to characters on the other server. Guilds are also bound to a server so you can only join and interact with a guild on your server.

Personally I have both launchers installed and I hopped onto the Euro one when the NA one was having an extended downtime. Obviously you'll have to level up chars from the beginning on the other server but at least the game is still available to you (and you can potentially have 16 chars instead of 8).

I ended up backing out of the pre-order for the game because I realized that I have way to many games to play right now and I always buy some game on Steam.
Once I play enough of the games that I have (which is about 120) ill buy more games to play.
