Considering a game, I want to know if it'll run

My drivers and video card are not an issue, but I'm wondering if the following game will run on Windows 8.1?

It's digital download; you can do it directly through EA's program. And yes it can run on it, but there may be issues.

Ah, but the problem is I have $25 for Amazon, and not EA. What is the difference between amazon download and EA download?

None. You're going to get a digital code which you'll need to use with EA's version of Steam, if I remember correctly. The only difference is method of payment and how much.
