Hi guys,

Well, yesterday 12 new achievements arrived on steam with the following description:

"Well i'm about as tall as a locomotive 12g shotgun, and just as noisy!"

In about 2 weeks Overkill will release a new Shotguns DLC.

Gage Shotgun Pack maybe?

Let's wait to see what they'll be up to. :thumbup:
 
Why wait when we can wildly speculate?! I'm hoping for a Spas 12 variant.
 
Ah, so this is what they were doing... About a week ago there was a thread asking for ideas on shotty achievements with a bunch of people replying to it. Figured something was up, but didn't think it'd be a new weapon pack.
 
Probably tomorrow overkill will be releasing guess what?

Gage Shotgun Pack

Until now they informed that the DLC will have 3 shotguns, some crazy masks, some crazier melee weapons and some serious tech surprises.

So let's stay tuned.
 
BAHAHAHAHA! That might get some TF2 players to try Payday...

One of the new melee weapons in the pack (of FOUR) is a trench shovel similar to the one the Soldier has. To boot, there are 4 types of shells now too, including one that's free to everyone. HE, flachette, and AP Slugs are in the pack, but anyone can use the new 000 Buckshot. Varying weights on them keep them in check, as the extra heft reduces the amount of ammo you can carry of each type. So while that HE round might beat the living tar out of a dozer, you're not going to be carrying very much ammo due to it being so heavy.

And that orangutang mask... Dear god is that thing creepy... Thankfully it'll be fairly rare since to obtain it you have to stealth Framing Frame with the locomotive shotty silenced.
 
The new update (DLC) has a broken achievement (Swing Dancing) where you need to kill at least 50 enemies using any melee weapon on a single day heist.

I've done it with the shovel, 2 knifes and the Tomahawk. None of them give me the achievement.

The update also broke the graphic of the game. My Death Wish mask where it was gold now is yellow, and the "lava" detail on it is now green.

I hope they'll fix it soon, their history of fixing bugs is pretty good.
 
There's also another achievement bug, the "No Heist for Old Men" where you need to complete Framing Frame in stealth using a silenced Loco 12G.

I was doing Diamond Heist in stealth and got it.

So any map that you do in stealth using the silenced Loco is giving the achievement.

Well that's both awesome and horrifying. Awesome since it'll make that stuff easier to obtain, but horrifying because that dang orangutang mask is the stuff of nightmares what with its folds of flesh around its face... :scared:

Welp, you're definitely right... Went into one of my frequent quick heists I can stealth really fast for the bonus XP in the next heist and got it after completing Ukrainian Job.
