How do fix pixelated youtube videos?

I have been having this problem for quite a while now I was wondering if anyone could help me on how to stop the video from going pixelated at 1080p and lower resolutions.

Graphics Card: NIVDIA GeForce GT 640

Current Screen Res: 1980x1080

Colours: 32bit
 
First obvious question: Are you sure that you're streaming youtube videos at 1080 or 720p?

Second question: What is your monitor?

Third question: Can you supply a screenshot of what you're looking at?
 
Only happening on certain video's by certain youtubers? That looks more of a youtube issue. It might say 1080p but not update to the full quality. Perhaps the youtuber just has crap rendering?

Seems like a youtube problem.
 
It happens on every video. And why would you say it is crap rendering when other people get a clear picture when watching. So it cannot be YouTube's fault..

Screw this I am going look up a guide or something since your information isn't helpful at all.

Second, don't get in such a fit. We're just trying to help with what we know or see. Without being able to mimic or get all the information up front, we can only guess what's the problem. It can be your internet connection that's causing pixelation; you say other people view it fine, but it actually may not be true. When Cloaked was talking about crap rendering, he's talking about the file uploaded to Youtube didn't go through correctly or was corrupted. There are youtube videos marked as HD that are really 320p (hence crap rendering).

There's a lot of possible reasons or causes for the pixelation issues. Settings messed up in Adobe Flash Player, bad hardware acceleration, slow internet speeds, corrupted video upload, etc. etc.

First snapping at the people trying to help you isn't a good thing. With computers there is no magical fix it red button that we can push. There is a process of steps that need to be done addressed before going into greater details. That so far is the steps i seen taken is things i would have asked as well. Your initial post is very little details so they are going off of that.


Question 1. Is this all videos at 1080p? Look at Twitch.tv find a 1080p stream see if its doing it.

Question 2. What speed is your internet as snipe said this can be the issue. ( do a speedtest at speedtest.net for this answer You could be having random speed issue that requires a router reset imo ( seen this before) )

Question 3. Have you cleared your flash data. Sometimes this can cause issues

Question 4. Have you made sure your FLASH is uptodate.

Question 5. What about other programs ie games ect. Do they suffer from pixiles as well.

Question 6. Do you have the most updated Video card Drivers. This sometimes can result in issues with FLASH and videos as well as gaming.

Question 7. Which browser are you using. I have heard on rare occasion someissues with certain browsers and FLASH due to addons.
 
What I figured is that it might only be happening on 1 youtuber and he could possibly be using a bad rendering quality through his video editing program and when its uploaded to youtube. I honestly dont understand the very defensive stance on that. It was just a suggestion on the VERY limited information you gave.
 
I encountered that problem aswell, but it was on youtubes side of things, if you look back at your previous videos, is there pixilation? I know right after you upload your video, it may not be in 1080p, that's because it takes time on youtubes end to finalize the video quality
