Title: Who Framed Roger Rabbit
Year: 1988
Country of Origin: US
Director: Robert Zemeckis
Plot: Following the murder of Marvin Acme, a private detective and film star Roger Rabbit must navigate a serpentine like plot in order to find out who framed Roger Rabbit.
Review: Who Framed Roger Rabbit is a timeless classic in my eyes, probably because I grew up with the film...but also because the film really holds up today. I mean it still looks fantastic 26 years later. Also impressive is that they some how managed a copyright miracle, almost any animated character you can think of shows up here including most of the Warner Bros. stock...which given that this is a Disney production is amazing.
The plot is pretty solid noir, though it has sort of the same plot as most L.A. based noirs...actually I can't think of an L.A. based noir that doesn't have a
land development scheme
