Some old memories from an earlier generation of eGO

I used to play on Dustbowl a while before I joined eGO but I never took any screenshots :L

Firing up the Wayback machine here. This was from before I joined eGO. Probably circa 2008 or so.

If you had really really old screenshots of Blackmesa you would see the original spawn was located exactly where the BIG C is on the first screen shot posted. You could actually plant a sentry inside spawn and a dispenser. I was the one of the first to come up with the idea of building a dispenser and sentry in spawn close enough to the door that i could crouch on top of the dispenser and keep the door open and cover both the hallway and the stairs coming up from A. If any one decided to attack me I would just jump off my dispenser and the spawn doors would close, After a while enough players complained that this wasnt fair and leadership asked me to stop this tactic.

There's a very good chance I have some screenshots of that. Unfortunately, I have ~19,000 screenshots totaling 3.5 GB archived from my days playing, admining, and eventually managing the TF2 division. Anybody want to dig through them? ;)

Better not. Some of them might prove to be embarrassing to a newly crowned advisor.

I would love for you to dig up a certain pool party photo montage that's reportedly lurking in Adv-Private.

Keep it up Chumpy. Remember, I have the perfect combination:
1- I know where you live
2- I'm easily within striking distance; maybe 2 hours drive time away
3- I have boatloads of disposable income, more than enough to procure a giraffe at this time of night
4- I have a a tenuous hold on sanity at best, just enough to think teaching you to ride a giraffe at 3am is a great idea.
5- Don't want to ride giraffe? Maybe giraffe wants to ride you!
