No, not the movie. This is my final day as a part of edge-gamers. I would lie to you guys and tell you that it's from stress IRL, but I won't. I'll spare you that petty bull because you deserve better. Truthfully, lately, it's been hard finding a reason to stay in eGO, but this last month has been pretty hard. For two main reasons: the leadership changes, and the drama.

Don't get me wrong, I like IP, she's a great DL and I respect her completely.

When Goyan left, I was kinda sad, but pretty indifferent. I got the sense that he was a nice guy, but I never really knew him.

When jhnsn left, I was pretty sad because he was my friend with whom I'd bonded with over Warframe and such.

But when Kazoo and Cael left, I was straight up devastated. They'd been with me from the start of eGO, and they were basically like my tf2 mom and dad.

Also, the drama. I understand that it is human nature to form cliques. I don't believe that it is human nature to talk about other players behind their backs. I believe that that is immature teenager nature. I try to stay impartial with the drama, but that has become impossible while being an active member of the community. I get enough of that crap during my 9 hours of school. I don't want to have to deal with it for 2-3 hours of video games.

So alas, this is my goodbye. This is where it ends. The ship has sailed. I've enjoyed some of my time in eGO, but it has come to the point where the bad outweighs the good. I'll still be sucking on Egypt and occasionally on Black Mesa or Prop Hunt.

i completely understand your reasons and ya when kazoo and cael stepped down i was devastated to cause there like the same to me and i like insomnia princess she's been there for me countless times

and i agree that drama stirs up more drama and talking bad behind others is not right or appreciated i've learned you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all there's enough drama irl life that you shouldn't have to deal with it in game too

i personally apologize to you for whoever did this too you and you will be missed dearly by me at least and i wish you luck in everything you do in life

To address the drama comment...I havent forgotten about Cael and Kazoo's respect meeting over the summer and I'd hate to have it be a distant memory as they deserve a lot more than that from us.

There are always going to be groups of people that wont want to talk you or be silent when you eneter a room or begin to change rooms slowly or on a worst case scenario talk bad behind backs its a terrible human nature but..My advice to those reading this, take the high road and do the mature thing which is to stay away and find your own way. If youre going to feel like crap trying to be accepted by indvuduals like that things will go south and it will be like HS trying to fit into the "cool kids" club. All I can say is not everyone can get along but we can and should remain respectful to each other. There are soo many of you and I entice you to try to meet others freely as there are geniunely nice people as well here in eGO. Those are my personal 2 cents on the matter and as always feel free to reach me or anyone on the leadership team.
