Calling all Counter-Strikers! Your EC advisor, _MEGA, was on the most recent episode of the podcast!

You may also note that we took a page from Trippey's playbook and threw in some musical pieces between segments. Here are the credits for those bits:

There It Is Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) and
Honey Bee Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com)

Thanks for listening and we'll see you for the next episode. ;)

Hey guys, a new episode of the podcast is out!

Today's episode talks about what iamwute and I have been playing, the latest news from Microsoft regarding the Kinect and potential news from Nintendo about Super Smash Bros., and what it's like to step on nails. Oh, and there's talk of gratuitously violent and girl power anime series.

Does any of that appeal to you? If so, listen to this episode. Special thanks to Artimus for the contribution! Also, the music piece is Aurea Carmina by Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com). Licensed under Creative Commons 3.0, http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/

Joy and rapture! A new podcast is out! (and it's only a month and a week late :P)

Team Fortress 2 Recruiting Host Advisor Insomnia Princess is our special guest on this episode. We interview her about getting involved in video gaming in general, eGO in particular, and why cat lovers should be alarmed around her. After that, we rant about the proliferation of the undead in pop culture and we wrap up with what we've been playing recently.

The musical insert is Pachelbel's Canon as performed by Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com). Licensed under Creative Commons 3.0, http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/

Definitely enjoyed this podcast! And I liked the musical break. Very nice to listen to. :)

A brief word about the podcast site, since some people have asked: right now, the site is under heavy reconstruction. Hopefully it won't take long. We'll try to have a temporary archive site made in the erstwhile so you can continue to enjoy listening to the podcast. Check back here to see when the site is properly up again!

A number of you have probably seen the green label for the podcast site. If you haven't done so already, click it! We have a brand-new site constructed by Versed, with a good deal of creative input from Insomnia Princess and just an itty-bitty dash of oversight from yours truly.

Go visit the new site. Click on all the things! If you find something borked, let us know. If you find something you really like, say something to us. If you have site improvement suggestions, we're open to your input. We want to make this the best brand that the Internet has seen for years, so every little bit helps. Leave us comments both here and on the site.

You can expect the site to continue to develop over the coming weeks and days as we tweak and fine-tune the appearance. There will also be a blog on the site in which the hosts will occasionally publish material in between podcasts being uploaded. IP already has a post up!

Thanks to all our loyal listeners!

Good news, everyone!

First up, we have a new episode to which you may listen. It's about Sony at E3 this year - admittedly, nothing quite so "new" in subject - but also about what it means to be a gamer. Have you ever contemplated that question idly? Insomnia Princess and I have a thoughtful discussion about that for the second half of the show, so if you want to hear an intellectual exchange about man and his place in the world of video games, check it out!

Second of all, did you know we're reaching out to all corners of the interwebs? If you like this podcast, look for us on Twitter or Facebook ([ame="https://plus.google.com/u/0/106663703527595096338/posts"]Google+[/ame] works too if you're into that as well) and keep up with us. We are constantly updating the site with articles written by the hosts, so you'll never be bored. Soon, we'll have a subscription set up so you can be notified every time a new publication is made.

Third, if there are any things you think we still need, feel free to reach out and let us know. This show is only as good as its listeners, so come talk to us!

Here we are with another episode of the podcast! Wute and I get together to chat up random nerdy and geeky stuff. We start off chatting about Guardians of the Galaxy. From there, we move on to discussing the proposed settlement of the Sony hacking lawsuit, which inspires me to reminisce about my experiences in family court. Wute winds it down by reporting on the CS:GO competition at Gamescom in Cologne. Our musical interlude is Cool Intro by Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com). Licensed under Creative Commons 3.0, http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/

Next time, we?ll have Air Supply as our musical guest!

And...we're back!

We've been away for a while, yes, but a new, long-awaited episode of Random, Nerdy, and Geeky is finally here! It's like Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day all rolled into one!

In this exciting episode, Cael, IP, Ric, and Wute sit down with TheWarOwl of YouTube fame. We talk to him about his start with the computer industry and what inspired him to enter that field, CS:GO, how to pwn at being a farmer and a mayor (it involves paprika), becoming a full-time YouTuber, and his secret chicken recipe (it also involves paprika).

You can find the episode right here or by clicking on the green link in the eGO Media module to your left. Thanks for listening!

I'm trying to listen to the podcast, and I've had to refresh the page four times so far. I've only gotten to 8 minutes.
My Internet is not dropping, and I have never had this problem before. It may have froze up once or twice before, but not this many times. >_<

If it's buffering issues, is there any way to have text show up to notify it's buffering?

We can look into this, but I have seen no other reports of this kind of problem. From what I can determine, it does not appear to be the site itself causing this issue.

Guess my Internet was being selective. I am trying to listen to it again, and now the loading bar almost reached the end, and so far so good.

EDIT: Internet is still being selective. Cut off at 16 mins despite the loading white bar being so far up ahead. Q_Q

This is no trick! Treat yourself this Halloween to a double dose of Random, Nerdy and Geeky awesomeness!

We have a new episode up, outlining our thoughts about Super Smash Bros. 3DS and our Halloween plans, which you can find by clicking the green eGO Podcast button to the left or clicking right here! We also have a new blog post about New York Comic-Con that you can find here!

Happy Halloween, everyone!

Good day, everyone! This here is Job Larson with a special update for y'all. Now, I know many of you are already purveyors of my fine brand of vintage orange juice, but I have a favor for you. My good friends Caelestis and Insomnia Princess of Random, Nerdy, and Geeky, one of them newfangled Internets podcasts, sat down with A Nudist Colony not too long ago and they wanted me to pass on the word. I may be old-fashioned, just like my orange juice, but I have mighty strong views about nudist colonies. I'm grateful this was only an audio podcast and not a video one. Just thinking about it...mercy!

If you're fixin' to listen to their show, you just be clickin' this link below and listen to them talk about an excitin' time involving bleeding, singing, and o' course, premium orange juice. Y'all come back now, y'hear?
