Ladies and Gents of the TF2 membership, tonight we ask you lend us your assistance! Mr. Nudist Colony and I have decided to throw a collaborative effort along with our respective ECs and RHs to gather our members and friends to invade Valve Official Servers.
When: Tonight, November 4,2014
Event Time: 7PM CST/8PM EST
Where: Teamspeak to co-ordinate, or join off one us through steam.
Permissible Recruitment method to use: Please use Steam to add potential recruits or any new people you meet that seem to be possible eGO material. We are not allowed to recruit using the ingame chat. If someone asks you about joining eGO, ask them if its ok to add them on steam and proceed from there.
Be sure to Wear your tags.
Why are we doing this Mas? Shouldn't we be filling our own servers?:
We should always be filling, however I am sure everyone has noticed that the FFTF has been hard at work and we cant just have members filling/playing 24/7 we need new pubs! As quickplay traffic hasn't been the best since the changes earlier this year, its been difficult to get people our way. Taking an hour to reach outside of the community is more like an investment.
Is this a recruiting drive?
Yes and No and I'll tell you why.
YES Because: This event is geared at pursuing the pub base that may not even know we exist and hope that they see us as an active community and begin to ask "who are these =(eGO)= people and how do we join them, what do they do". I have a feeling that with the game being free to play, pubs simply hit the "Multiplayer" button and are sent on their way to whatever server.
NO Because: They are not really drives, they are invasions, as the hope is to have ego members on both teams and help lead the prospective teams to victory and build some sort of friendship along the way with the players as there would be some strategy/planning I'm sure to make sure the opposing team wins.
With that in mind, this was my solution to this quick-play nonsense of not getting the traffic from valve and hope that my community members have my back and that it isn't just me and Nudist and the Hosts heading out to battle on our own. We ask that you come out, have fun. If recruiting is not your thing, still come on by and leave it to us.
The more =(eGO)= people we have the better and it will show the community that we do exist and willing to come out of our comfort space. The ball is in our court and if Valve isn't helping we have to go out and get people to notice us and hopefully join!We look forward to seeing you.

Be on the look out for random things throughout the event 7 Day DS Lite Codes and backpack items may be up for grabs as Fistful of Leaders will not be in effect at this event as it's a non-ego server(s).
