Actually I was planning on trolling some people since there was a mix of friendlies/enemies in the elevator, so I put C4 on the ceiling of the elevator then got out and let them go down. On the first lights out, my C4 automatically blew up, so I'm guessing any vehicles or other unwanted stuff would also blow up in the elevator.
