Is auto to easy to get? or too cheap for players? Should it be changed?

It's not cheap lol. 5k is a lot of money in competitive.

through that whole match there was a lot of auto's on both teams. So It just got me thinking that it was cheap

Autos are only really used when you're ahead, or in a desperate situation. The gun costs 5k, plus armour and nades so it would be about a ~7k purchace. You can full buy with an m4 for about 5k so, its not worth unless you have a lead.

The auto has the main drawback of being a 2 hit kill, so your opponents will have a larger window of time to retaliate against you than if you were using the awp. Its enough time to get counter-sniped by an awp, or to get 1 tapped by an ak. It has its uses, but you're definitely more exposed using it compared to the awp.

An auto without armor against pistols is really a stupid buy if you ask me. nothing like buying a 5k weapon to get randy headshot by a cz75 with no helmet.

If you're using an auto close enough for pistols to kill you you are in the wrong spot. 2 hit per kill but it has like 20 rounds.

no default map is large enough for pistols to be unable to kill you. I've been randomly dinked by glocks picking mid on inferno so many times

Train, Outside nuke, Cobblestone, Truck at a site on cache, etc. it depends on where you play it. Don't use an auto like an awp, especially on gun rounds.
