What got you into gaming?

I even remember having Windows 3.1
Damn... I feel old v.v

I feel ya, man.

I've been gaming since ... I can't even give you a legitimate date. My first console owned was the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) for you kids born after the 90s. Lol.

First console played, was Atari. Pong was beast. ...rofl.

I played the ORIGINAL Civilization and Wolfenstein 3D on Windows 3.1. (#MLI)

From there I went Game Gear, SNES, N64, Playstation (1), Gamecube, PS2, XBox 360 and that's where I ended with consoles. I have a DS Lite, a PSP, and an iPhone 6, lol... but nothing compares to PC for me.

Why I got into it?

I moved a lot as a kid. Both my parents were active duty military and so I was in seven different schools by the time I'd hit fifth grade. Gaming was the only stability in my life as a kid.

Why I love gaming!

Contra 1was my FIRST game ever, then I moved on to the Gameboy Color, which introduced me to Pokemon Red and a whole sleuth of games that I can't seem to list. Next, when my dad got me a PS1, I played Final Fantasy 8, FF Tactics, Digimon World 3, Hercules, Tarzan, Chrono Trigger, Legend of Dragoon and Xenogears. By the time I got a GBA SP, I played Dragon Ball Z: Legacy of Goku 2, Pokemon Ruby, Megaman Battle Network 4-6, Fire Emblem Blazing Sword, Sonic Battle, Sonic Advance 2, the GBA port for Final Fantasy 4, PMD Red Rescue Team, Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga.

Next, I got a DS, which led me to playing games such as Pokemon Diamond/Pearl, Megaman Starforce, Pokemon HeartGold, Pokemon Black, Mario Kart DS, Solatorobo: Red the Hunter, Digimon World DS, Drawn to Life, The World Ends With You, the Ace Attorney series (except Dual Destinies), Sonic Chronicles: the Dark Brotherhood, Final Fantasy: 4 Heroes of Light, Kirby Mass Attack, Legend of Zelda Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks, Advance Wars DS, The Legend of Kage 2, Phantasy Star 0, Radiant Historia, Ivy the Kiwi, Dynasty Warriors DS, Nintendogs: Labs, SNK vs Capcom: Card Fighters, and three of the Professor Layton titles (Unwound Future, Curious Village, and Spectre's Call)

By the time I moved on to PC gaming, I had TF2, Portal, Portal 2, Sonic Generations, Sonic Adventure 2 and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim on my belt.

On a side note, I played Okami, Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3, Ace Combat: The Unsung War, Sonic Riders Zero Gravity, Gran Turismo 4, Sonic 1-3, Sonic & Knuckles, Sonic Adventure, Sonic Riders, Sonic Heroes, Super Mario Sunshine, Titanfall, Minecraft and Super Smash Bros 4 and Brawl and I plan to add Twilight Princess, Ocarina of Time and Skyward Sword to my list once I get them.

As for why I became a gamer, I was into it since I was nine years old.

Pokemon Yellow with my Pokemon Gameboy Color, Sega w/ X-Men and Sonic, NE64 with Perfect Dark and Goldeneye, then I played Metal Gear Solid on the PC years back then discovered Half-Life 2.
From there it went down hill.

As far back as I remember the earliest games I played were Sega sonic the hedgehog and half life 1 along with the gameboys I remember getting cor Christmas one year.. I played these since my brothers all had computers and I started to copy them and play with them.

ExOH got me into gaming. Strange, but true as he wasn't even born yet.

Watching Youtube videos of the GTA:IV LCPD:FR mod. Eventually spread into other games like BF4 which got me here to eGO!

Played the usual Contra, Super Mario, Sonic, Joe and Mac, yadda yadda.... some football and hockey games, and of course NBA Jam. Arcade games such as Ninja Turtles and The Simpsons. Didn't really get into PC games until Diablo 2 came out. I remember playing hours on end on dial up! Those were the days... fake sick from school to stay home and play Diablo all day. Now it's just narrowed down to the occasional NHL 15 with the buddy, and CS:S.

I got a Game Gear when I was 4 or 5...it was fun, but god knows how many AA batteries I killed with that thing.
