Regular Realism; Hosting days.

As we saw from Last weeks excellent outcome, a full server for Realism, on Friday, and from what I overheard partially on the TeamSpeak- what Is the overall opinion from the Leadership of DODs, and I presume also the community members of the Division, in regards to hosting realism on Fridays, rather than Saturdays- due to the possible convenience, accessibility and greater turnout?

Personally It's a lot more convenient- as every second Sunday I've got to be up at 6am for my Airsoft shooting. Realism being Hosted on Saturday evenings (Eastern) doesn't start until 1am (Sunday GMT) and finishes about 3/4am (GMT)- only warranting a few hours of sleep.

Just wanting to see the overall opinion and view from everyone, as I'm well aware this may see a trial-run as it were, to see how things go. :thumbup:​
 
Like Nicoll stated, we will be running Realisms on Fridays for a few weeks to see if its a better day. We had an issue that we haven't had in a very long time, and that was too many people.

that being said: From now on, do not join the server until I, or another member of the EC crew or Leadership, give out the password. We are going to try and make this as fair as possible and because it is a first come first serve event, everyone will be allowed to join AFTER the password is given out. "But Compton, it's not fair that a select few get to join before us peasants!" I understand that may be how you feel, but also understand that leadership will be the first members to step out of Realism to provide room in server for you guys, and they do that voluntarily, not because they have too.
 
I didn't know about the Monday birthday realism. I guess that's what I get for not really checking the events, albeit it's usually on the weekends.
 
it was a great turn out and I also will volunteer to step out if anyone wants in. I would prefer to get ppl in that want to give it a try and have a great time than see them not want to go because of too many ppl. Plus it will give them a chance to play realism and hopefully sign up for the campaigns when they start up again which in turn might lead to a better turn out for practices.

I understand your frustation with Nicoll winning as well, however we're gonna go ahead and test it out through the end of the month to see, this past friday on the 9th we had a slightly below average turnout, so it may go back to Saturdays.
