I think the overall 'issue' that people are mentioning on this thread is that they mistook what you said for something entirely different, but I may be wrong.
Having been in several other clans before eGO, I somewhat know where this thread is coming from -
People have different opinions on things, like different things, do different things..People are individually unique, if that's the right way to put it.
That being said..It's also what the issue is.
It's hard to want to be around someone or a group of people if they make fun of something you do or how you do something or if they do something you do not like or approve of.
When that's not the problem, it's how to get involved. People tend to get nervous about suggesting things or 'joining the crowd' because they 'fear' for what others might think of it.

The basic concept, I think, that IP is trying to get across is that: We are here to help. Help us help you.

All this being said - A good way to get involved right now, is by helping with the servers -
* - Lately they have been low on players, if not empty. Add one or several of the FFTF Captains and when you're getting into the game and you see a empty server, Join it, send out a message to each server using the & key saying "This server needs help", and ask a FFTF Captain to post a announcement to help get it rolling.
* - Also - Join the PSC! Either as a Recruiter (e's can can also do this), Application Processor (if you are a G or O) or a NME Representative (Not sure what the requirements are on this one). At first glance, I was kind of nervous to join as a processor since it sounded like a big job, but now that I'm here it's actually quite easy to do/easy to learn. And if you have a question or not sure how to do something, ask someone. Leadership has been plenty helpful to me with the number of questions or concerns I've brought up, I don't see why they can't be the same for you.
* - Also, like IP said - If you see someone 'walking the extra mile', so to speak, or being really helpful, be it with recruiting, server filling, etc - let leadership know. It's a good way for promotions to happen. And when someone is promoted, they usually want to push themselves even more.
Think of it as a Domino effect - One person constantly is trying to fill the servers or recruiting, someone else sees this and thinks "Hey, he's trying to help make eGO a better place, let's go join him" and it repeats itself with each player/member.
One person can make a difference. You. Can make a difference.

Anyways, that's just how I took it. If I was way off, then my apologies (Also my apologies if any of it came out rude, as it was not my intent)
