Some of you have already noticed (look for a news post coming soon to front page), we brought Sharknado into our leadership team as Recruiting Advisor. This means that we also moved our whole Nudist Colony over to FFTF Advisor.
This was a two-part decision and Nudist was involved and willing. Sharknado was a devoted RH and filler and this relationship is one I am very excited about.
All of the specialty programs within TF2 need to work together for optimal efficiency. But the FFTF and the recruiting team work especially close because they go hand in hand. Filling gives a big opportunity to recruit and recruiters can help fill servers while also looking for new friends to make and potentially bring into our community.
I am very excited about having Nudist and Sharknado working together on these two programs, along with their staff, because we all believe it will make both programs stronger. The two make a very good team and they share in the core values and excitement for the future of this division.
We need to get our server rankings up. We want to keep our servers full so all of you have someone to play with when you're in the mood for some TF2. We also want to continue to grow our division and bring in new members. These goals are best accomplished when we all work together.
So with that said, also keep in mind that RHs are not meant to do all the recruiting on their own. They are there as non-leadership leaders to help teach you and guide you in how to bring in new members and how to be confident with recruiting. They are also there to answer any questions you have about recruiting or the sign up process.
FFTF Captains are not meant to be the only ones filling servers. They are here to lead the fills, to encourage a fun, competitive playing environment and to keep status checks on our servers (were there crashes, downtime, issues with filling, etc?).
We still need all of you, the members, to help out when and where you can.
So I, for one, am very excited about this team working together. I know Nudist and Sharknado will do a wonderful job and I look forward to seeing the them lead their teams and our division to mutual success.
