"Stop! Thief!" Yells the shopkeeper after you as you make off with a handful of his goods. You maneuver through a series of alleyways and turn around to make sure you weren't followed. Satisfied with your escape, you start to head on your way, only to slam into a large metal object. You turn to face the obstruction to see a knight in gleaming armor. His sword rested on his pauldrons and his shield was adorned with a green turtle marking him as one of the kings guard. "Criminal scum," he muttered, "nobody breaks the law on my watch. You turn and bolt, but before making it a few feet a pair of bolas twists around your ankles, bringing you to the ground. "You should've paid the fine," he says as he ties your hands behind your back and throws you over his shoulder.
After a short trip, you arrive at the keep overlooking the village. The drawbridge lowers, allowing the knight to cross. He enters the inner keep and descends into the darkness with only a few torches to guide his path. The knight reaches the bottom and picks up a pair of keys, unlocking a cell and throwing you in. "Soon, the real fun begins," he whispers as he closes and locks the cell. "If you can beat me and my knights in the games to come... Well, you won't beat us." The knight tosses a small knife into your cell and exits the dungeon, leaving you to ponder the possibility of a second chance.
