Battlefield 4 To WIN 10 or not to WIN 10?

Just got the notice that I can now download WIN 10 I just don't know if I want to or not.
Suggestions?

There are some 'features' in Windows 10 that will track your location, searches, ect sort of like what most smart phones do. You can easily disable those features. That has really been the only thing I didn't like about it. I put the latest and greatest hardware in my PC I figure I'm cheating myself not to put the latest software on it. Do it.

The only thing I've had a problem with was that the new browser is not compatible with BF4, but it asks you what browser you want to use so you just pick your old one and it will load it from that browser from then on. Other than that, I like it, and you know me, I don't like anything new.

I found too many lies for me to trust it, when the windows icon first appeared in my task bar it said the new browser would be "Spartan", that has been changed to Edge, it also said WIN 10 is built for speed, well if their idea of 10 seconds is over 4 hours, I consider that to be a lie. Myself I consider it to be yet another scam by Microsoft and they can keep it.

Been on Win 10 since release. Its way better than 8.1 imo, but isn't without its glitches. I had issues with the nefarious nVidia drivers causing BF4 to crash (direct x memory error), had to roll back to an older driver. Also had some random permissions errors, ended up having to give myself access to my own user directory... Other than that, smooth sailing. I expect some issues with any new OS, they're never perfect and never will be...

The basic stuff is easy to turn off but will not override all of them, you need to do a bit of registry edits to completely turn it off and I know a lot of people are not comfortable messing with their registry.

I found too many lies for me to trust it.

One of the biggest reason I won't be updating is right in the eula.

I was hesitant because of the mess of windows 8.1 i was stuck with. But i really like the improvements that they have done with 10. And DX12!

I'm going to wait almost the full year to download. Hopefully in that time patches have come out and the community has found its way around the system for other fixes, such as any other hidden tracking.

I get the occasional BSOD on my gaming machine, usually memory management... My other Win 10 machines, a laptop and a tablet, flawless.

I noticed that to. I wish to know why does it need to track my location? If not a big deal then I won't bother disabling them.

You live in a world where your location is tracked by so many things... If you don't want to be tracked, turn off every electronic device you own, disconnect your electricity, and live a blissful life.

Oh, and never go anywhere there is a security camera, because there is now technology that can do face recognition off the camera feeds. That includes license plate readers, so forget driving.
