The war to end all wars, WW1 and WW2. LEST WE FORGET. Our fallen comrades died for us all, please remember them on this day.

LONDON BLITZ

Lest we forget. Had a huge assembly at school today, some interesting and scary stories were told. Don't take your freedom to play DoDs for granted boys.

Had the family medals on for numerous remembrance events on Remembrance Sunday.

Quite a lot of history with Dundee, my home town. Served as the Royal Navy's Admiralty 'base' for numerous Submarine units, as well as the Admiralty for the East Coast of Scotland. In fact, a U-boat surrendered at the end of the war, U-2326. Long story short, the same place where the admiralty offices were (On boat an old Ammunition Ship/Frigate HMS Unicorn), was where the U-boat captain and officers surrendered to. And is the exact same place where I went for a remembrance service for the Royal Navy, Merchant Navy and Royal Fleet Auxiliary. Fascinating stuff!
