Had an interesting moment on Kalt last night I think I was talking to $hifty about guns, I use a 270 savage axis rifle a Taurus 38 revolver and I am hoping to pick up and ar-15, and a Glock 9mm maybe a couple other rifles later but for now that is all I am looking at for my collection. Does anyone else enjoy shooting? and what kinds of guns do you use?
 
I have a glock 27, cz-75b, and a remington 1500series shotgun 20 gauge. If I want to shoot something else I will borrow a gun from my father in-law or my pops. Usually borrow the 30-30 lever action and ar-15.
 
I have a ar15 I built, M9 beretta, winchester defender shotgun, 30-30 lever action, socom 16, sks and a sig p229

Just a Gen 4 G21, A couple single shot shotguns, a 32 long Rossi revolver and a 38 tanfoglio. I don't own any rifles, but I would really like to get a mosin and a 10/22. I would also like to get a Tokarev,
 
Big fan of my Remington 700 in 25-06 for deer and hog hunting here in south tx. No kick and gets the job done. I usually use federal's gameking BTSP 117gr or Barnes TTSX 100gr. I also use stoeger's m2000 semi auto shotgun for duck and dove hunting. It's ok at best but I'll be looking for an upgrade eventually.
 
Oh man, probably my new favorite thread. I'm not even sure if I can fit all of mine in. Between me and my dad I think we have 21(ish) including multiple AR's, a socom modded AK, and a bunch of their ones too. We also built our own AR's (Look up 80% lowers, it's actually a really fun project)

I have a 30-06 Springfield. Same one used in Saving Private Ryan and in DoD.
 
Nice John! I had a buddy who had the Garande very nice rifles! those old school ones, Mosins are fairly popular round here I have a few friends with one of those.
 
Have a G23 and Ruger lcp for winter/summer concealed. Also have my little Marlin 60 .22lr with a cool 4x for plinking. All great peices and I've recently started to consider picking up some fullsize 9mm variant soon.
 
Oh, and on an awesome side note. My uncle who is an electrician was cleaning out some guys attic and found an Springfield 1903. Which after searching the serial number and such, was used as a sniper in one of the World Wars. Best Christmas present possible.

If you look in the archives here, search for "my grandfather's springfield " or something like that.. there is a pic of me shooting the 1898 Krag model made by springfield armory. By the serial number, it was made in about 1907. It's an awesome rifle. I also have a G23 40cal, springfield xd 40cal, and a mossberg 500 12 guage.
 
Really cool you all! :) Hopefully next years meeting maybe we all can hit the rifle range somewhere where we meet!!
 
Got no weapons atm :( (CA restrictions are not too fun_I know about all the work arounds for AR "bullet-button").

At the time of this conversation with Dope I was looking to build a custom PRS (precision rifle system) modeled after the McMillan TAC-300.

The build is gonna cost 5K though :(
If any of you know about custom bolt-action rifle design, CHEERS!
