For the last two years, some extremely generous members have come together to give back to the community during the holiday season. Originally, the spirit of the DoD:S Division X-Mas Giveaway was to provide the opportunity for the division’s members to share the gift of gaming with their fellow division and clan members. Fortunately, participants from the previous years have hailed from almost all other divisions, making the giveaway pool larger and bringing the entire community just a little bit closer for the holidays.
A lot of members ask “What can I do to help the division and/or community?” Well, I can’t think of a better answer than giving your fellow members the chance to play a game they’ve been wanting or even games they had been wondering about.
If you’re able, please pledge whatever games you can to brighten the lives of your fellow gamers and share the gift of gaming with people who will truly enjoy your generosity.
Give back to your friends and the community by donating some quality games now!
DONATIONS
This is the perfect time and place to give back to the people you play with and also a good time to snag a free X-mas gift! Any donation will be greatly appreciated and will go directly to members of our community.
The concept is simple: Pledge Steam, Origin, GOG, or Humble Bundle games, or other downloadable PC games for other members to claim.
Donations will start now and will continue until the end of the year when the giveaway ends. However, immediate donations are needed from now until Sunday (12/20/15) to create a pool of games that will be available when the giveaway thread is posted on [strike]Monday (12/21/15)[/strike] Tuesday 12/22/15 9:00 PM Eastern.
Please note: Donors will only receive messages on three dates (12/23/15, 12/27/15, 01/03/16) to distribute the games they donated. No PM spams from Stormy this year.

***If you would like to contribute but don't have any games in mind to purchase or if you'd like to really make Christmas special for one or more members, please send a message to ST0RMY or find me in TeamSpeak.
Note: You do not need to donate a game to claim a game if you are a DoD:S division member. However, any member of eGO from any division may claim a game only if they have donated one.
How to Donate:
To pledge a game simply post in this thread or send a private message to ST0RMY using the format below.
Example:
Who is eligible to receive games?
All DoD:S members can claim a game!!!
1. All DoD:S members are eligible to claim any one game.
2. Any eGO member from another division is eligible to receive a copy of Day of Defeat: Source (Donations of DoD:S would be greatly appreciated).
3. Members not from the DoD:S Division can claim a game if they donate a game.
4. DoD:S members who donate more than one game can claim a total of two games with at least one day between claims.
These rules are not set in stone and recommendations and opinions are welcomed.

Please note: This year this donation thread will remain open alongside the giveaway thread that will be posted on [strike]Monday (12/21/15)[/strike] Tuesday 12/22/15 until the donation thread is closed on the 27th of December.
Donations will begin now and continue until the end of the year (12/31/15) when the giveaway closes.
This thread will remain open for donations until the Sunday after Christmas (12/27/15). Hopefully a good deal of games will be available for members to claim by this point.
Important Notes
-Donations will continue until 12/31/15, allowing people to buy and donate games as they become available for low prices during the Steam Winter Sale and/or the Humble Bundle.
-Members who donate will be listed alphabetically in a special benefactor section of this and the giveaway thread.
-Steam games and Origin game codes will be the primary platforms for donated games.
-Donated games will be pooled together by online platform (Steam, Origin, other) and listed alphabetically.
-Copies of Day of Defeat: Source can be extra useful as they can be donated to members from other divisions and create more DoD:S players.
-Copies of games supported by other eGO divisions are also appreciated.
-Any games donated should remain in your possession and inventory until they are claimed and then notified by ST0RMY.
-If games are not claimed they will remain yours and in your possession.
-Extra games not claimed once the giveaway ends remain in your possession. However, they can still be put to use to help the division by offering them to official DoD:S advisors, recruiters, or event coordinators.
Giveaway Information:
The DoD:S Division X-mas Giveaway (when the donated games are given away) is slated to run from [strike]Monday (12/21/15)[/strike] Tuesday 12/22/15 until the end of the year (12/31/15).
