What the meaning behind your name?

[The Empathetic Peacemaker]

I've always imagined what it'd be like to be someone who thrived on the forefront of positive change in the world, a person bound by glory and honor to be the role model that everyone could aspire to be like some day. The Empathetic Peacemaker, to me, described all of my deepest desires for who I wanted to become when I made my account.

I doubt I'll ever change it.

 

[Mayhem Death]

About 7 possibly 8 years ago, there was a CS:S clan named mayhem (had special characters in it and whatnot. You know, it's what the cool kids were doing back then) and I was of course apart of said clan under the name Death.

So I was playing on our CS:S 24/7 Office server (may it rest in peace) and a man by the name DINO<3 added me on steam and asked since he always saw me on the servers if I wanted to become apart of eGO. So one thing led to another and I applied with the name Mayhem Death.

Always nice to reminisce on the origin of some things, nice thread!

Basic translation: Victorious Mountain.
Complex explanation: One who has the formidable resolve in order to emerge victorious no matter the circumstances

Headshot was a name I picked when I was a little kid, I would not pick it now, but I could not see myself changing it, as that is what everyone I use to play with, knows me by. It is nice running into people on occasion, who I played with several years ago, and haven't seen in a long time.

In other games besides Valve games, I have other names on.

Athrograte is a name of a dwarf in R. A Salvatore's books, that wields two morning stars on the ends of chains, one of my favorite characters.

Drizzt is the main character of most of the books, a dark elf ranger.

it started just as BADDAWG from when i used to drive OTR then i moved to Ohio and started gaming some one else had just baddawg so i added the ohio

Shini is shorten version of Shinigami.
Note: I'm a Bleach fan, not a Death Note fan (but I've seen the Anime, it is quite interesting).

I've chosen the name, Shinigami, back around 2007 when I applied for the PMS (Pandora's Mighty Soldiers) Clan's CSS division.

My friend named one of his saves on need for speed most wanted a3yko, and i then used the name as my xbox live gamer tag 6 years later, and it stuck, have been using it ever since.

G4ce was my original Promotions company became my rap name for a short time before i went with After`J'. I love TheDopeDragon which I took as my first eGO name but felt to use something that was more my own since DopeDragon make Jungle and Drum and Bass vinyl, and stuff.

Icosahedron, because I like polygons. Remove the 'sa' to make it unique.

It's the username I thought up of when buying Minecraft.

Edit: Now shortened to "Ico", because I like it that way!

lapen is just nepal backwards, I used to change my name at least once a week for a year or two, and just ended on it.

My name comes from when there were TechDecks. I had the Blind Bling Guy and long story short I broke. My friends username for Kongregate was followed by 258. I tried Blind258, but that was taken so I did Blind259. Basically kept that for a couple of years and then changed it on Xbox to HyperVenom259. I didn't like the sound of it and when making a youtube channel reverted back to Blind and name it TheBlindNinja. Still didn't like the sound of that and finally came up with BlindBeast. On PS4 my name is BlindHyper just so people know it's my HyperVenom from Xbox.
