Wow, i have been playing ego servers for several years and never seen such power tripping admins like tonight on cs_italy.

They kicked someone for no reason while he was shooting for "camping spawn". Then they kicked me for spamming chat. The admin would not name himself. In six or seven years playing on ego servers i never been kicked.

You seriously go down in quality naming power tripping admins.

Well, if you're on CT and camping in spwan, meaning you're not actively doing the objective, then a W/K should follow. Unless T's are pushing from market and far side and your only option is to be in spawn, then that's okay. But you should still actively try to do the objective and be out of spawn.

Also, don't spam chat. If an admin tells you or whoever to stop, stop. I don't know the extent of the situation but in any circumstance, spamming isn't allowed in general.

If you do have an issue with how an admin handled a situation or incident, drop box and let leadership know. Constructive criticism would be more appreciated than simply blasting the admin present for trying to do her/his job.

To be fair, camping spawn and spamming chat are both among the few simple rules we enforce in our CS:S servers. CS admins are required to follow a specific set of instructions when it comes to enforcing said rules.

If you wish to file a complaint, utilize the dropbox. Leadership will be happy to look into the case further and seek any action necessary.

But, in the meantime, try to keep posts like these off of public forums. If you have any further questions, hop into Teamspeak and someone will guide you in the right direction! :)

And we thank you for shopping at your local Walmart!

If you have any issues with how our admins handle situations then you may find use in the dropbox. These public forums should not be used for voicing concerns over "power tripping admin," which I would expect anyone to know after 6-7 years of playing on eGO servers, but I guess not. ?\_(ツ)_/?

I joined Italy and will stay there for some time to make sure issues are being handled accordingly.

Next time you have issues, post in the dropbox with the time things occurred. That way we can see logs of who did it and handle things accordingly.

Or just play somewhere else. :P

Right off the bat, this post confuses me.

First off, you say both here and in your application to join eGO that you found our servers by way of CS:S, but you joined the MC division and you haven't entered any detail about your Steam in our forum system. Why would you not join the division of the game that made you join eGO?

Secondly, you said you've played on eGO six to seven years, but your account on our forums was only opened last April. However, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and say you only joined eGO recently for some reason but have been a part of our servers for some time. Since eGO has only been around for about ten years, that would mean you've been on our servers for the majority of us even existing.

Thirdly, because of the aforementioned lack of any SteamID tied to your username, it's impossible for anyone to review what actually happened without it. Odd, since you claim to play on CS and joined eGO because of CS, yet you lack a SteamID to the best of our knowledge.

Finally, your MAUL profile lists you as banned. If you're trying to appeal your ban, you'll want to do so here.

It's not impossible when you know how to use gameme correctly. Regardless, both kicks were justified. I made sure of that yesterday. Not much point in having this conversation continue really.
