Battlefield 4 graphics card suggestions

Hey guys! :) I'm from the csgo division, but I want to build my own computer soon!! I was wondering what's your recommendation for a graphics card around $250 that could run BF4 at high/ultra at 60+ fps, 1080p monitor. Thanks for help!!!

I, too, have the GTX 960 (Thanks Scribbynuts) and can highly recommend this card.

It does everything I need it to do (even from a programmer's aspect)

It loads all my programmer emulators that I need really fast and efficiently.
 
gtx 960 is a good card, but don't expect it be running ultra 1080p 60+ frames constantly. Look at this video, and this is on metro which in my opinion isn't demanding compared to larger maps such as caspian and dragon valley.

I don't have an FPS issue using the 960.

I run 100+ frames consistently in every game I play.

But I also rely on my i7 quite a bit.

at ultra settings at 1080p, I highly doubt it.
This guy is running a Intel 4790k @ 4.6GHZ and I'm running a gtx 780 full ultra I know that I'm not going to get 100+ frames consistently, but Im running an i5 2500K @ 4.2GHZ.
 
Can doubt it all you want I suppose, that is your prerogative.

Either way, the 960 is a solid card for the price. (The 4gig version, not the 2gig)

Does everything I need it to do.

I'm not saying that it's a bad card, but I'm just pointing out the reality of gtx 960 will not give you 100+ frames 100% of time at 1080p with all the bells and whistles turned on. But hey maybe you the won silicon lottery of the gtx 960 batch. Here is an another video proving my point. Also, I'm referring to 64 players environment.

If you can hold out a bit longer I would. New cards should be coming soon and will drop the current card prices.

Youre probably not playing ultra, maybe high settings with no MSAA sounds about right for a 960 getting 100+ FPS

also, probably playing 32p in a map like Metro.... compared to 64p on a map like Dragon Valley or Siege, probably not.
 
msi 980ti gb....just got mine, and can run any current game ultra settings, 144 fps...save you money, and get something that will take care of all your needs for not just whats out this year, but what may come out next 3 years...NO COMPROMISE SIR.

Keep in mind that he is 13, so it wont be easy to collect that kind of money depending how much he gets.
 
Battlefield 4 is a very CPU intensive game, but is equally demanding in the graphics department. This being said, if you have a quality i7 or whatever the AMD equivalent is, paired with the GTX 960 4GB, you should be solid, though I do recommend that you buy the Windforce edition from Gigabyte, excellent cards that require little over clocking

I have a Gigabyte R9 290X Winforce and the only problems that I see is that it runs too hot... I needed to tone down the GPU in order for it not to crash... I am looking for my next card..
