I found this on another clans forum how they where experiencing the same thing we where. An individual connects to our server puts a weird symbol in chat and causes TS to crash.

Teamspeak Crash Issue Solved

Last night we had another couple victims of the teamspeak crash bug. To those that dont know basically your teamspeak will crash, after starting it back up and trying to connect to fever it will crash again. It only seems to crash when trying to connect to fever. After talking to @TheYoung0ne I believe I know what is causing it. He said that he noticed a guest join the channel and start text chatting just before this happened. The guest typed in some weird symbol and teamspeak crashed.

I believe that the symbol is what is causing the crash. Its some weird character that teamspeak doesnt recognize. If this is true the fix should be relatively simple, you have to delete your teamspeak chatlogs. Those logs are typically located here: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\TS3Client. You will want to delete both the Logs and Chats folders to be sure.

I have not been able to test this as I don't know the character required to crash teamspeak so until someone else encounters the issue this is just a theory.

Also if someone does have this issue and wants to help me stop it from happening again you can send me the chatlogs so I can figure out what the character is and try to block it from being used on teamspeak all together.

*UPDATE*

A better way to fix this it to launch teamspeak but before connecting to the Fever Server:
Go to Settings, Options, Security, and hit the clear cache button.

If you have any trouble figuring this out you can send me a PM on the forums or message me on steam, my steam username is fevervirus.

Teamspeak was updated on the backend and rebooted, I believe, yesterday, or the day before to patch this bug. If TS was developed by DICE, it would be called a feature. If you have not updated your client, we strongly suggest that you do so. Looks like current version is 3.0.19.

EDIT: It was updated 21 hours ago.

What had happened was the text was in my chat log and was still messing me up. This helped me stop crashing, that was all.

If it were ventrilo, we would never see an update again ;)
