I have been rather inactive the last couple of weeks. Started working for a swimming pool company servicing a wide range of pools in some pretty swanky estates. May is our busy season and as such I have been pulling 6 day/60 hour weeks. This will likely continue until the end of the month.

On a side note I might just be able to afford a computer rebuild sometime this summer and be able to retire this 7 year old dinosaur I'm using. :biggrin:

Should be back to active gaming in early June.
 
I'm in the same boat - work has been killing me with shifts. eGO is always there when you have time!

Same, it's the beginning of our busy season (summer) so we are slammed at my work. No rest for the weary hahah! :chair:

eGO isn't going anywhere anytime soon. We'll be here when ever you can get on Russd3! :thumbup:
 
Yep... I have my own independent pool service and the beginning of swim season is always a beotch. Then add in early warmth (three days in the 90's in April and 92 today) and the phone blows up!

Welp. My short leave turned into a long (and ongoing) leave. Been working 50+ hours a week servicing swimming pools this summer and just have not had much time for gaming. No updates on the planned computer build as the computer fund was re-purposed into the keep the car running fund. lol

This job is a seasonal gig and I suspect the hours will start ramping down sometime in mid September and then end completely in October. I don't anticipate much in the way of gaming until that happens.
 
Make that money while you can. You can game while it rains.
 
Have been lurking in the shadows with a computer barely fit to play solitaire for the past 2 years. Was originally going to be upgrading after a brief absence, but real life priorities preempted the computer budget (tis the life of adulting lol). Today, I finally got to put the old PC out to pasture and am about ready to starting kicking the tires on a new gaming system. BF4 was my last excursion in the Battlefield series and it ultimately led to my retirement since my system couldn't keep up on minimum settings. I've seen mixed reviews for BF1 and with BFV only a few months out I think I might just skip 1 altogether.

Anyways, hope everyone has been doing well. See a lot of familiar and even more new faces around here.

Edit: Looks like BC2 is still alive and kicking. Might just wander over there once it finishes downloading.
