So for the ppl who have heard of Star Citizen, would you suggest it?

I own both Elite: Dangerous and Star Citizen.
Star Citizen is currently in alpha, and I suggest you wait for it's release before you buy it. From what I can say though, from playing the alpha, is that it is definitely a fun, unique, and immersive experience -- combining both aspects of a first person shooter and a space sim into one seamless world. While it is in alpha, many aspects of the game are not finalized, but so far it all seems promising.
Elite: Dangerous, however, is a different game with a larger focus on ship-only content (besides SRVs and planetary landings). It has a large universe with about 100 billion star systems which makes player encounters quite rare when away from the starting systems. To be honest, the game is -- quite frankly -- boring. Travelling to solar systems is slow, travelling within solar systems is slow, and the only thing going for it is the feeling of finding and exploring your own solar systems. So unless you like playing by yourself, Elite: Dangerous is a no-go until some updates come to fix that somehow.
I'm not a professional critic by any means, so don't let me influence your decisions too much.
I would suggest that you do your own "research" into the games before buying any of them.
Star Citizen occasionally has "trial" periods in which players can play for free for a week or so.
Elite: Dangerous has no such thing, so be sure that you really want it before you buy.
That isn't entirely true, as at release, every ship will be available for purchase with ingame currency - You also have to take into account that big, huge ships will be extremely expensive to maintain and repair, and you have to pay a crew of AI or players for them to operate and maximum efficiency. (In other words, when your ship takes damage, you will NEED an Engineer to repair the damage.) You will also have other things to balance everything out, such as equipping your ship with Anti-Capital ship torpedoes and etc. (These are bought with in-game currency.) Honestly though, there really isn't any reason why you shouldn't have just as much of a chance to succeed as everyone else. The only ships that I know of that were going for thousands of dollars were the founders packs, which included (Almost) every ship in the game at the time. You cannot sell ships after you have bought them, or you'll be banned. Most of the ships now are less than $200, and you're getting anything from a Corvette, up to a Frigate or a Destroyer. Eventually, full on Carriers are going to be released, and you'll even be able to buy your own Space Stations. (Again, all bought with ingame currency as well.) The fact that Star Citizen will not be a monthly fee game on its own is fantastic. The catch is, you have to be able to run it.Star Citizen is s really cool game and all but an expensive pay to win game. It may be $20 for a base model ship but after that there is a lot of other ones that cost in the thousands of dollars. If I wanted to play that game I would wait til they change their prices. I am not willing to play a game that is pay to win.
It might change eventually to something more feesable but right now it is not.
I would definitely recommend getting it, but you may want to wait until it is released. (That may take awhile)Just play eve online
