Sorry this is a week late, I can only assume me failing everyone by not getting a story up is the reason why we had to cancel realism because of lack of people.

Saturday, July 2nd, 1944. France.
Ours boys relaxing and dancing in London
Lieutenant Ravage sighed, throwing his legs up ontop of the radio table, leaning back. "Finally! All the troops are on pass, and--"
Then Captain Stewie busted into the room, "Ravage! Where is the platoon! Where is everyone!?"
The Lieutenant jumped up, saluting, "Uh, Sir? We sent them all on leave remember?"
The Captain face palmed to the highest degree, "What do you mean we sent them all on leave. So no one is here?"
"No sir. No one is here."
"I guess we'll wait for the attack until next week." The defeated Captain walked out of the tent.
Meanwhile, across the river.
Mulvad telling Mamma Mulvad that he's taking Tomas to War, circa. 1939
The Hauptmann, also known as the Danish Destroyer sat with his XO and brother, The Diabolic Dane, in the conquered city of Paris. The two had quickly risen through the ranks of the Wehrmacht fighting out "true Germans" for their spots and leading charges against the Allies over the last 5 years.
Their aide, Teecmo, came in with a quick salute. "Hauptmann! All the men are on leave just like you-"
The Hauptmann jumped up, "Leave!? You fool! I told you to leave them where they were! The Allies could attack any minute! Who is here?"
"Sir, no one." replied Teecmo, now cowaring slightly.
Mulvad looked at his brother, and gave a nod. A second later a shot rang out and the messenger laid on the floor, crawling toward the door leaving behind a trail of blood. He never made it to the door.
Saturday, July 9th, 1944. France.
Sergeant First Class Tagger threw her legs up onto the radio table, relaxing back, throwing her arms behind her hand when the XO busted into the room.
"Sergeanat! Where is the Captain!? We're under attack!"
The Sergeant jumped up, saluting the XO, "Uh Sir? Captain Stewie is on pass remember?"
"WHAT. Im not sure if this could get any worse. Well actually I can see how this can get worse. But never mind that! Get the rest of the troops!"
Mulvad's Forces taking the Town
The attack was quick, the Danes had perfected the Blitzkrieg over the last 5 years, and today was no different. It felt as if as soon as the last artillery shells hit the city, they were overwelmed by Wehrmacht forces. The remaining Allied soliders were pushed back to the rubles of their "Alamo", a hotel near the edge of town. The young lieutenant laid on a pile of ruble, his garand resting, he looked to his right at Tagger. "Tagger. Who let the Captain go on leave? Didnt he know we were going to get attacked today! Unless he did know, so he's a traitor!"
"Sir, you're talking crazy again. Shut up, focus forward."
"Right." What was left of the company were laying across various piles of ruble watching this sector of the town. Able and Dog Companies were watching the flanks. The Lieutenant heard footsteps behind him and quickly threw his gun backwards, ready to kill the kraut behind him. "Jesus Rogue, you scared the bejeezus out of me." The Sergeant laid down next to the XO and Tagger.
"Sir, we've got enemy movement coming up the right side of town. Sergeant Boyle has Private Simon and Hitreg over there." Just as the Sergeant finished his report the gunfight started.
"Tagger! Lets go!"
"Si-" Before she could tell him we shouldn't move, the XO was running toward the fight with wild abandonment, his .45 in hand.
The Danes:
Mulvad walked through the ruble of a destroyed church where his Kompanie has set up their HQ for the siege of the city. His brother was already directing soldiers to attack the American flanks to take the town center. "Sir!" His brother saluted crisply.
"Tell me, what do we have planned."
"Yes, Sir, We've made a Halb-Zug with First Zug, they're attacking the Americans who've taken position on the left side of the hotel."
"Who is in the group?."
"Compton leads it, unfortunately Unteroffizer Zero was killed after someone yelled, "Enemy Sighted." and killed Zero with friendly fire."
"Who killed Zero!? I handpicked him!"
"We're not sure, we've got conflicting reports. Some say it was Compton himself, but he has the next most expierence, so we went ahead and made him lead the charge."
Mulvad just sighed defeatedly, "Continue, who else."
"We've also sent Dodgy, Shifty, and Q-Tip."
"Lets go. It will do some good for the men to see their Commander next to them in battle."
The Fight!
Sergeant Boyle and Private Simon at the start of the German offensive.
Boyle: "Where is everyone!?"
Simon: "I have no idea!"
Boyle was relentless with the Thompson, "Hitreg! Get the Bazooka up here!" He pointed to a building where the Germans were firing from, "There!"
Mumbling and Grumbling, Hitreg hoisted the tube onto his shoulder, "Fire in the ho-!" the crack over a rifle was heard just as Hitreg pulled the trigger, firing the bazooka off course and harmlessly into a wall as he slumped backwards. Just as he took his last breath, Tagger and the XO arrived.
"Glad to see you sir, we've just been hit hard by a German advance. Any chance you brough the .30 cal?"
Ravage smacked his face, "That would have been a brilliant idea. Tagger, write that down."
"Si-" Before she could get a response out, the XO was already talking again.
"Alright, just keep firing, hurt the bad guys."
Boyle just nodded, following orders without question opening fire again.

Shifty and Dodgy after Zero's death
"We're stuck with Compton?"
"Nice shot Shifty!" Dodgy cried out with glee, aiming down the sights of his own K98, pulling the trigger and watching a puff of red exit from an allied soldier.
"Not a bad shot yourself Dodgy." Shifty lifted his rifle, ready to move down some ruble when the Allied Thompson opened fire again. Before Shifty could hit the dirt three bullets tore through the young rifleman, and he fell to the ground.
Compton checked his pulse, and found nothing. "Fear not Dodgy. We got this."
"Im afraid to ask what you've got Unteroffizer." Mulvad crouched next to a wall, his brother behind him.
"Dodgy, stay low." Compton moved toward the Commander, "We'll, so far we're just trading shots. We get one of them, they get one of us. We need the armor core, their defensive position is just too strong."
"I've never heard you resist a hopeless charge before."
"Normally you give me more men to sacref- uh, use."
Mulvad looked over his shoulder, "Tomas, go get more men."
The younger Mulvad nodded, and ran back toward the camp, ready to get more grenadiers for Compton to "lead" to victory.
