Just a thought, from past experience participating in TF2 tournaments: you may want to add 1 - 2 alternates to your team. Sometimes real life happens and people can't join during an assigned match time.

This. Even the pro teams have alternates.

Not only alternates, depending on response (I see more than 12 people so far saying yes) I would even make the equivalents of two teams based on tryouts and roles typically filled. Joining with the other guys talking about COMP TF2, the convenience and practice potential having two teams offers can NOT be overlooked. For those of you who haven't played PUGs before, two team captains picking their teams and scrimming for a couple hours is not only fun, it tremendously helps build team chemistry.

I would suggest, if you were to do this, to have two teams and two alternates minimum per team. Edge-Gamers Blue, and Edge-Gamers White for instance.

Comp Room Always Locked

I would love to play on a comp team but it seems there are only a few elite players that are allowed to play and they lock the comp room and change the passwords to segregate the other players. but I guess this problem has plagued our community for years and nothing will change. We get new member in by telling them oh yeah we play that game, but when they go to play that game the ELITE players don't want to let them play...great marketing

What if the comp team guys are involved in a match? Or Team practice? :O

Our competitive team is meant to be for our elite players. We had tryouts and the best were selected to join. They have scheduled practices which they use the locked rooms so they are not disturbed during that time. The roster is currently set and in place. If you were interested in joining you should have private messaged Havok or myself instead of whining in public like a child. Grow up.
