7th Annual eGO DoD FF League

UPDATE:

Both leagues have drafted and are set for the season. There was some good picks to be had by all no matter what position you drafted in.

We had 2 players not accept their league invites in Bravo, so they ended up with 10 players instead of 12. So to keep things fair, there will be a Alpha champion and Bravo champion. There will be no overall champ this year. Bravo wont know the waiver wire struggles that Alpha will.

While IV Play (Not Zer0) seems to feel he drafted all the sleepers in Alpha League. It seems though that the only thing sleeping was him as he drafted the entire Cardinals starting WR corp. At least he is living up to his team name.

In other league news, Dr. Comptonites wants the below grades struck from the record as he was denied one of his perennial power house picks. Dan Bailey was selected in the 12th round with the 133rd pick by DVS_Mind, essentially throwing Dr. Comptonites entire draft plan into a downward spiral.

Good luck to all teams!

Yeah, my grade is bogus too. My Mother is going to speak to the teacher!

My auto-draft wasn't terrible. Had to make a few moves; hopefully they pan out to be what I expect them to be.

well all things considered. I am not too unhappy with my austo-draft. SOrry lads I was not getting up at 3am to draft :( ... Im getting old

Just got back from holiday without any internet. This sucks. :(

Well week 1 is in the books and for some it was a glorious way to start the season and for others they are ready to scuttle the ship and start rebuilding like the Browns. With week 2 quickly approaching and the waiver wire already hot, some people will need to make moves to cover injuries, some will need to make moves to cover people not coming back as soon as expected and other well just need to consider making moves.
Either way the season isn't going to get any easier. Let's look at some highlights from week 1.

DVS_Mind - Not only posted the highest scoring team but also the biggest blow out against yours truly. He is setting the bar high for what is going to need to be done to win a championship.

Compton - Posted the second lowest points total for the week but some how the football gods decided to smiled on him after Terrance Williams decided not to go out of bounds. He got the win so there is that.

Rogue - Dropping a 159.55 was enough to steal the top spot in bravo away from Croms 158.95. Looks like an early rivalry is building in bravo for the top spot.

TipTop - Throwing a duck out there like an RG3 bum shoulder was behind it, decided to hope that Gronk rolled into Arizona on the party bus late to play. Long story short he didn't but was still in the starting line up.

It is still early and with more then enough time to still capture a winning spirit, it can only get better from here. Congrats to all week 1 winners and good luck to all those looking for their first win of the season in week 2.

Hey, I went to trade him out with my TE who was on the bench, and guess what? PUP-R. Until about an hour before game time, I didnt even know what that meant. For those who still dont, its Player Unable to Perform, reserved for return. I had no freaking idea. It was too late to add someone, so yep. I ate the 0 points. Thats ok, he will make up for it sooner or later. Not to mention, only got 18 out of Russell "sore ankle" Wilson, meanwhile I had Dalton on the bench who did pretty well. Anyway, I am not scared to drop a loss in week 1... I will recover!
