Bad Company 2 EGO BFBC2 Server Rules Violations

G'Day Edge-Gamers (Management & Administrators)

I have recently noticed increasing cases of violation against EGO BFBC2 server rules and largely unknown players (to me), NOT our regular players that respect and follow the rules.

I fully understand that it is almost impossible for administrators to actively monitor EGO BFBC2 server 24/7.

My hope is that there should somehow be possible to solve either through auto-scripts or any other solution.

The reason for my post is that I feel strongly about EGO BFBC2 server and with all my heart wish that EGO server rules are required to be respected for everyone's comfort.

In view of the above, I can offer me to re-enter as EGO Member (administrator if possible). Since Sweden are in another time zone (4-9 hours ahead of USA) I can be active in EGO BFBC2 server at US late evening, night and early morning when most US administrator are sleeping. But this is only practicable if Edge-Gamers management believes me to be approved as a eGO member.

By that I wish Edge-Gamers and their members all the best for future to come.

I don't know what the procedure is, but you might just need to talk to the DR JABS team (Dark Raven / jtipton / alex2142hp / beemermarine / skyjacker) to get your rank reinstated. Pull one of them aside in TS3.

Hey Wolf,

General procedure is to re-apply to the clan through an application I believe. Afterwards, you may talk to your leadership and see if they want to reinstate your previous rank, or they may request you work your way up again.

I think that it's awesome. That you would be more then willing to come back to ego, my main question would be, from what I understand you were a member and now you're not? Would like to be reinstated correct?
I have been attempting to admin the best I can. I am not an ego I am only an eG member. We have rules and regulations that must be followed for proper administration of the server. On a few instances I have see you personally, argue with players in the server. I truly believe that's not a quality that's supported on ego servers. Furthermore no offense to you but I feel because you know these people "constantly diss-obeying rules" I would assume you would take it upon yourself to administer justice as seen fit. I feel you should re-enter admin training and go through all member and administrative requirements before being reinstated.

At this time we do have scripts to announce rules but do not have any that will auto enforce violations. Admins when online should help to enforce rules through warnings, kicks, and bans. Any player could also do as such by typing warnings in chat related to the rules. If you witness a violation when an admin is not on please post a ban request so that we can take care of the problems. As for admin well you know that history. At this time the leadership team decided that we will not reinstate that. We will discuss membership but as Dezertexiles has mentioned sometimes you still argue with other players over the rules and have trouble. Members are held to higher standards than pubs and we do so to show professionalism and showing the fairness of being a respectable admin or member. If you have any questions regarding membership please talk to BF's Community Manager Alex who can fill in any details or questions regarding membership or rules.

The sad thing is that you rather judge then see what I do for EGO BFBC2 server. No one is perfect as I seen some admins (no names) live out their emotions. but I can have understanding of that since I'm occasionally not are a role model in the way my feelings shine thru, But instead of self-denial I'm aware about it an working hard to manage my self in a respectably way.

For the rest , I's sad to see that you didn't show more respect to me and the subject as it deserves.

As time goes by we have less and less admins or even pubs in BC2 servers. It still though is a favorite server when it gets up and going. You do a great job at times helping keep it free from disturbances. As you said though too sometimes your struggles contribute to problems which you are working on yourself. If it becomes to much just stop and think to contact and admin before the server gets out of hand and it becomes a problem for your emotions. Dont let others get you upset its a game and meant to be fun. Sure some troll and are rule violators but play and be happy report them here or find us in TS to help you out.

I would like to see Wolf reinstated as a eG or as a eGO again. In (BFBC2) I do thick that Wolf has done well in trying to keep the BFBC2 sever running.

But as you know you may have to go through the Leadership for this to happen. I wish you luck Wolf.

No one has ever said that you suck at being a team player or that you have truly done any thing wrong man, just saying it would be best to work back up throughout the ranks. It's not up for any one to decide it's a leadership thing now. So we can all leave it at that. I should have said you do awesome at correcting people and attempting to uphold our rules. Just minor things to look at. That's all. Hell I have things I need to work on also like not just going afk when mtv or h play. I mean I don't play that much when bananas is playing agent me.
