Hey there, TF2 Division! Your friendly local Recruitment Hosts - OSTKCabal, -=DUH=-, and Emmy - are excited to announce some awesome upcoming events!
We're going to have a ton of fun, and are excited to get back into the swing of things with more consistent events and ideas for recruiting.
We'd love to see all of you at one (or both!) of these!
FRIDAY 9/23: Meet n' Greet @ 8PM CST / 9PM EST
Join the recruitment hosts and your fellow eGO members for a fun night of introductions, social games, and just messing around in-game!
Yes - we're bringing awesome back, folks. This is an honest to goodness MEET n' GREET! This EdgeGamers-exclusive event is for members only;
you all make this community and division fantastic, and we figure it's about time to have a different sort of experience together!
Among the complaints about Mister36 sniping everyone, we'll start with introductions - no need to play games with strangers!
We want to get to know you and make new friends! We'll be keeping this part short, but be ready to tell us your name, your favorite TF2 class, and your favorite eGO memory - the short version!

We'll move on to a couple fun social games
We'll be playing 2 Truths and a Lie - you've got plenty of notice to come up with some really good ones!
Don't know how to play? It's pretty easy - come up with two true statements about yourself, and one lie. Others will have to guess which are the truths, and which is the lie.
We're also planning on another fun little game, but we're keeping that one a secret for now!
The Meet n' Greets are an awesome way to meet new members and make fantastic new friends - we're excited and hope to see all of you there!
Other divisions are beyond welcome to join us and say hi!
SATURDAY 9/24: Karaoke Night @ 8PM CST / 9PM EST
After our TF2 Admin Refresher course (which eG's and eGO's should also attend - sign up here!), we'll be holding one of our fabled Karaoke Nights, co-hosted by TF2 and CS ECs A Nudist Colony and Scott!
If you've never been to one before, they're a real treat - turns out, some of us can sing really well! Me, on the other hand...
You can sing a song or two or five yourself, but you're also welcome to sit back and listen to your fellow members hit those high notes!
Remember to always be respectful of your fellow members and mute your mic while others are singing.
We hold Karaoke Nights on Teamspeak (ts.edge-gamers.com) - As a co-hosted event, we'll have an exclusive TS room for this one.

The more voices, the better! Just make sure they're aware of the rules.
